"Lovely hotel in a very rural setting a few miles from Capalbio. Essential to have a car. Interesting area, a little bit off the main tourist route I would say. Our room was lovely, very spacious with a fabulous bathroom and balcony , am pleased we booked the de-luxe. Very helpful staff, particularly the concierge who helped us with bookings and visit suggestions. We sadly didn't have great weather, so didn't get to use the pool which looks beautiful. The weather also meant that the breakfast and bar areas were quite chilly (despite some heaters) so not conducive to lounging around. Breakfasts were excellent with a great range of food. Restaurant was good, fairly pricey but delicious food."

"We love Capalbio. Wonderful village that has always moved us and the structure reflects the charm of the place. The resort is truly beautiful, very well maintained, the cottage spotless, tastefully furnished and comfortable. The staff were very kind and welcoming, available to satisfy any request. The swimming pool, hot tub, tennis and paddle courts are beautiful and well-kept. Top beds and mattresses. Also thanks to the absolute silence in which we were immersed, we enjoyed a truly regenerating night's sleep! What can I say...we will definitely repeat the experience"

"Three star hotel but in my opinion it will soon have the fourth star. Beautiful hotel for those who want to visit Capalbio. Free and guarded motorbike parking. Many services and very welcoming and prepared staff. Excellent breakfast and excellent quality of sleep."

"This is not your typical countryside hotel it’s something much more personal and grounding. Set within beautifully maintained grounds, with ancient trees and manicured gardens, the estate has a calm, almost meditative quality that encourages you to slow down and breathe. The property is small and intimate just a dozen or so rooms which added to the feeling of space and privacy. We stayed in one of the suites; while not overly flashy, it was clean, comfortable, and quietly charming. I understand there are plans for renovation, but honestly, the atmosphere already felt authentic and refined. There’s a lovely pool and jacuzzi nestled within the trees, surrounded by nature. You can tell the grounds are incredibly well maintained; old stone paths, flowering borders, tall cypresses—all creating a timeless Tuscan setting. It’s worth noting this isn’t a full-service hotel in the traditional sense. Beyond a beautiful breakfast in the main house (which was a real treat), there’s no restaurant, bar, or shop on-site. But that actually added to the experience. It encouraged us to truly unwind no distractions, no hustle just rest. We ventured out for meals in nearby villages, which became part of the charm and rhythm of the stay. The owner was absolutely delightful warm, welcoming, and generous. She made us feel completely at home and even sent us off with homemade cake when we left. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat where you can reconnect with nature, get off the grid a little, and enjoy genuine hospitality, Ghiaccio Bosco is a true hidden gem."
