"Our recent stay at El Sueno Tropical was fantastic. The location is great, it is quiet and yet close enough to 3 beaches in the area. There is a store near by and lots of activities to do. We had the superior double room, which was perfect for a family with 2 children (2 bedrooms with one queen and 2 twins and a living area with couch and well equipped kitchenette including a large fridge) Beds were very comfortable and rooms were bright, nice and clean (recently renovated). The grounds are beautiful and the pool is really nice, an area where you definitely want to hang out and relax. The restaurant offers great food and the pizza is a must try ;) The bar has a nice atmoshere where you can mingle with other guests. We felt very welcome and at home. The owners Erin and Drew were exceptional hosts. They made sure every guest is happy and were very helpful with booking activities in the area and beyond. We already miss this place and are surely coming back! "

"What a fabulous find. We visited three times during our stay and each visit was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. Steaks are succulent and so well cooked. But so is the chicken and the salmon. Deserts are also the best we have had throughout our stay in Costa Rica. However the empanadas are really special. So well filled, crisp, and succulent. A brilliant find in such a remote place."

"Before even going to the hotel for my stay Vincent was very helpful with any questions I had and helped me arrange transport to/from the airport. My room was spacious and had a beautiful outdoor shower. The employees were all really nice and Vincent also helped me organize my excursions. Millie and Sabina are really great and were very sweet and surprised me with a cute personal bday cake during breakfast. The property is really pretty and well maintained by the staff. It is peaceful and tranquil which is what I was looking for. It is a walking distance to restaurants and most importantly the beautiful beach. I will definitely be back!"
