"We were a family visiting the area. This is is a vast property, so you will be in the middle of nature, surrounded by Lavandula plantation in the farm . The rooms had actually the sent of the plant. The owners, were very accomodating to our various requests. The place is very quiet, everything is very clean. The owner showed us the mill where the lavandula oil is extracted from the plant and offered us samples. The village Castelo de Vide is about 15 minutes from this property and offers a wide variety of restaurants and historic places to visit. It is very hilly so, a word of caution. There was a music festival when we visited. Overall a place to visit and remember."

"We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Not only was it spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly, location in town was excellent and there was ample free parking. The hotel itself is quite old fashioned but this gives it a certain charm as it is quite an historic building and very well kept. Great value for money and beautiful views at breakfast."
