"The balcony of the room faces the castle🏰, and the conscious style hits you in the face. Opposite is the beach🏖️ and the embankment. There is no noise of tourist hotspots but it is still full of the style of all scenic spots."

"Great 9 night stay at the resort. The staff in particular were all very polite and helpful, responding very quickly when we had additional requests and making suggestions for when in the local town. The courtesy bus was very useful as we didn’t want to hire a car, the driver like all the staff was always on time and always very polite. The on site breakfast and restaurant were both very good, the restaurant was high end and had a fresh seafood focus like most in the area. The view was amazing from the rooms, pool and restaurant areas, would very much recommend at stay."

"This is now the third year that we have stayed at Domus Beach in Lu Bagnu. All the staff at the reception, dining room and cleaning are always very friendly and helpful and as always we thank them. Umberto the chef and his staff have always prepared excellent and varied dishes. Our room with a spectacular view of the sea was welcoming and as always we slept very well. "We have had the most distressing experience ever at this hotel. We did a usual check-in and got the electronic key card. We went to our floor and placed the key card onto the glass card reader plate. Our door would not unlock. We tried placing the card at different angles including the top and side. However, when we lightly tapped to the right side the glass plate cracked and dropped to the floor and shattered. We did not apply any unusual pressure to warrant this. We contacted the lady on reception who came and assisted. She could not open the door either and even tried a normal door key but to no avail. After about 20 mins she produced another card key that worked. However, after dinner that night, we again couldn’t get into our room and she had to assist by calling someone to fix it. She then proceeded to tell me that we will be charged €130 for the damage to the glass plate. I disputed this, as we did not do anything to deliberately damage the glass. I think the glass plate was already compromised with a hairline fracture and we were the unlucky ones to come along next and tap it. She said her boss said we have to pay. I asked to speak to him, but was told he was unavailable and to try in the morning. On checkout the next morning we were presented with the bill for €130. I explained again that this damage was not our fault and could I speak to her boss. She said he was not available and if we didn’t pay she would call the police. We are a middle aged couple traveling and have never had this experience before. We are respectful wherever we stay. We were treated like criminals for something that was not our fault and the boss of the hotel did not even have the decency to chat to us about it and instead hid behind his staff. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. This experience has ruined our stay in Castelsardo, cost us an extra €130 and caused a lot of stress."

"This hotel has the potential and the location to be an amazing place, but the management and service completely ruin it. It is supposedly a 4-star hotel, but the reality feels like a neglected 1-star property. Shocking Lack of Hygiene: On our very first day, we found a used razor blade from a previous guest inside our shower. We reported this immediately to the reception. It took more than 24 hours and THREE separate complaints at the front desk for someone to finally come and remove it. Absolutely unacceptable and unsafe. The AC Nightmare: For 5 consecutive nights, we were unable to sleep due to an extremely loud, disruptive noise coming from the room's air conditioning unit. Unprofessional Retaliation: After we filed a formal complaint about the AC, the hotel staff clearly retaliated against us. They completely stopped providing daily housekeeping. We returned to our room at night to find the beds unmade and the bathroom completely uncleaned (see attached photos). Substandard 4-Star Facilities: The room was in terrible condition. The pillows were torn, the blackout curtains were full of holes and too short to reach the floor (meaning the room was constantly flooded with bright light), the bathroom sink was leaking, and our window overlooked a literal pile of garbage. The situation became so unsustainable, uncomfortable, and hostile that we felt unsafe and chose to check out early to protect our family's well-being. We had to book and pay for another hotel out of our own pocket through Booking just to have a decent place to sleep.Avoid this place at all costs. It has everything to be great, but the service and maintenance are a total disgrace. PS: hotel management suggested me to use ear plugs because of the AC."

"The front desk personnel were very pokite and wellcomming. Room were so clean. They made up eveyday and changed the towels. Breakfast was quite sufficient. They even prepare a pack for us on check out day since our flight was earlier. Thanks for all your efforts to make our stay confortable."

"The food tasted OK. But to charge €49 (without any side dish) for the "catch of the day" fish of the day (7x7) means 700 grams at €7 each, I felt like I was being ripped off. Pure rip-off! In my opinion, that was a maximum of 450 grams. At home, I eat a maximum of 300 grams. So be careful!"
