"We loved our stay here, all of the staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. In particular Mario from the restaurant and Vito from the pool bar were very kind to us. The hotel is beautiful and the food was delicious, and there were many vegetarian options available. Club Lookea were exceptional, they are all very talented, enthusiastic and kept us entertained. Vinny, Donato and Giovanni from Club Lookea made sure we felt included. We would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait to stay here again!"

La Rosa Hotel - Selinunte ★★★

"We spent ten days at La Rosa and had a great time! The breakfast was fine, with plenty of croissants, cakes and fresh fruit amongst other items. The bar is basically reception, and is limited, but there is a seating area where you can have your drinks. The location is almost the last building in the street, the last one - a couple of doors away - is a restaurant; there are plenty other other places to eat in the other direction all the way down to the harbour. Opposite the hotel is a flight of wooden stairs down to a pleasant, sandy beach where you can hire an umbrella and two sunbeds for 25 Euros a day or just sit on the sand for free. There is also a beach bar that has a restaurant that has an all-you-can eat buffet for 18 Euros. All in all, highly recommended."

"A lovely, small and quiet hotel, run by a welcoming Sicilan family and staff. Very clean, with lovely sea views and a short walk down steps to their private beach, where beds and umbrellas are provided at no extra cost. Flat screen TVs and mini fridges in rooms, free fast WiFi and air-conditioning. We took advantage of the free safety deposit box (located behind reception) to keep passports and a few valuables safe. Good choice of breakfast foods and nothing was too much trouble. The huge Selinunte archaeological site is within walking distance (albeit uphill/steps in places) and well worth a visit. Plenty of restaurants and cafes also within walking distance. Food was delicious and we found the portion sizes very generous so shared some dishes! Marinella di Selinunte is quite quiet, there are a couple of tourist shops but otherwise it's not overly commercialised, which added to the area's charm for us."

"Casa di Latomie was a happy surprise in Selinunte. The place is fantastic. The room was very comfortable, big, and clean. The place is a dream in the middle of olive trees, with two swimming pools, a great restaurant, and a fantastic breakfast! The staff could not be friendlier. I strongly recommend the tour to the millenary olive tree and olive oil taste experience. I regret not having had more time to explore better the premises."
