"A very average hotel. The pool was being renovated so couldn't use it. The bath had mould in the corners and wall of the shower area. Breakfast - all prepackaged - was in a paper bag to be collected from the desk during breakfast hours. There was a lounge /bar area locked up at all times. All in all, a one night stay, however, for the price paid, I wouldn't stay there again."

"I have been a returning customer at the New lantern motel over the last four years.The staff is always friendly and very accommodating.The rooms are really nice inside and very clean.When I stayed here this past August of 2024 I had car trouble and I could not make the two hour drive home.Jeff the owner went the extra mile and helped me get my car fixed so I could make the drive home.I know from personal experiences you won't find help like this from your big chain Hotels."

"The Tamarack Club is the closest hotel to the lifts and the the main ski lodge. It is well maintained and appears to have had a refresh recently. Our room was a one bedroom suite and was clean and everything was working properly (TVs, fireplace, stove, microwave, dishwasher, sinks, etc). It was modern for a ski lodge type facility. The pullout bed was comfortable and didn't sag or squeak. The hotel also has underground parking, a restaurant with room service (Edna's), an outdoor pool, and two hot tubs. It is fully ski-in/ski-out. This is not a 5 star hotel like a Sun Valley Inn or Montage, but it has everything you want in an upscale ski hotel."
