"Dining room review only. We dined here one evening during our porto visit. Food was average for the price. The main issue we had was the billing. Food was priced on the menu, but subsequently two additional taxes were added in the final tally, putting almost 20€ extra on to the bill. The food price as listed was comparable to other restaurants , and was fair enough value for service and presentation. However, when an extra 20€ is added bringing the bill for 2 people to 144€, I felt this was quite unreasonable."

"Great location. The room has colorful furniture, everything you need, but it is very cold, even despite the heat outside. There is a smell, typical of all old buildings in Porto. The bathroom is separate. There is a choice of pillows."

"The room smelled so strange upon entering, then we went to inspect the AC and could tell there was black mold accumulating in there. The sofa bed was not a sofa bed at all, but a rickety foldable springy mattress. It was so uncomfortable and so loud that I ultaimtely had to sleep on the day bed. Would NOT recommend staying here."

"Great location for thru the day but SO noisy at night & early morning rubbish collection They didn’t bother to send the access code to get in. Luckily the cleaners were there when we arrived and gave us the code. Very minimal toiletries 4 the price of the place. Good washing machine. Well appointed apartment. They should have put a Queen bed in the bedroom area not a double. They Serviced the apartment but didn’t make the bed. !! Next time I’d go somewhere quieter"

"My wife, 18-year-old daughter, and I stayed here for a couple of nights in November 2025. The location is excellent. The room is great. The breakfast menu is delicious. The coffee is excellent. The interior is interesting and unlike typical hotel rooms. The bathroom fixtures are original. P.S. The floors in the room do creak. But that adds a certain charm. If I understood correctly from the staff, the owners don't replace the floors because they're practically antiques."
