"I recently stayed at a hotel that, despite its pleasant staff, left much to be desired. The staff were consistently kind and smiling, earning the hotel two stars. However, the overall experience was marred by an awful odor permeating the room, reminiscent of bad body odor and stale cigarette smoke, which made it difficult to enjoy my stay. The hotel was connected to the city utility system, preventing any regulation of room temperature. As a result, it became uncomfortably hot, and attempts to cool the room by opening windows or the sliding door were futile, only allowing the unpleasant smell to linger. While the maid service did replace toiletries and make the bed, they neglected to provide fresh towels, even taking the ones I had. When I called for new towels, the staff promised to deliver them but never did, adding to my frustration. Breakfast options were disappointing and lacked variety. Although the hotel looks appealing at first glance, my week-long stay became unbearable. They do not provide washcloths, but they do offer individual toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and even slippers. If requested, they have dental, shaving, and vanity kits available. On the plus side, the rooms a big and the hotel's restaurant, Brick, served excellent food, particularly the delicious pepperoni pizza. Its also reasonably close to the Vardar River so you can enjoy the nicepromand along side it. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel for a stay due to the many issues encountered."
