"To escape three days and two nights from everyday life and the heat, we found this hotel in Zadina, where there is absolutely nothing as a center, but the sea and the pine forest are a stone's throw away, with many other comforts for those who have a two-year-old child like us. However, we were unlucky, they assigned us room 520, in the older side of the building. Normal room let's say, with soft and not very comfortable mattresses, terrible soundproofing, you can hear those above and next to you and even the doors to open and close make a very loud noise. But the most absurd thing is the bathroom: tiny and bidet inside the shower that the impossibility of regulating the temperature of the water (either it burned or was cold), without a window and a somewhat so-so extractor fan. A little to renovate and review. Buffet not rich but satisfactory, attention to food intolerances etc. Very large swimming pool and children's pool, looked after with opening hours 8/18.30. Large parking lot."

"Let's start by saying that the hotel is already too much... It's a two-star guesthouse. If you adapt, you can spend a stay like a B&B, nothing more! Lunch and dinner are inedible: we had booked with an all-inclusive formula but after a day we asked not to eat there anymore. Garlic and cream everywhere and ridiculous portions, vegetable buffet with four types of choice and recycled from the day before. Fruit only apples, oranges, bananas and kiwi. There are no labels indicating the ingredients and therefore everything is a surprise. Swimming pool not clean: no one dared to enter. Free parking in the municipal parking lot very far from the hotel or on the adjacent paid streets. Small room and 60x60 shower. Holiday to forget."

"Location is good, near to the beach. Breakfast is ok, there are lots of sweet cake options, but hardly any fruits or healthy options. Lunch, dinner were nice. Waitresses are too busy, short of staff, we had to wait many times for our drinks and food. It got so annoying after a while. So many times I had to approach them to ask for the main course or dessert or drinks, they just forgot us. Bad service. Rooms are small, beds are very uncomfortable, narrow, mattresses are so thin. They look like beds for children. No English speaking channels on tv. Receptionists were nice and helpful. This hotel should be a 3* hotel and not 4*. I would definitely not go back again. "

"Plus - beautiful decor at the pool area, convenient location in front of the beach. Cons- Old and broken, needs renovation urgently. Kids club area is a poor underground area with no much to do. Price/quality doesnt seem fair, not to mentioned the overpriced beach that you need to add to your booking or pay later, to enjoy a very questionable see water."

"Just returned from a very relaxing and enjoyable week's stay here. From Bologna it's about a 70min journey, we used it as a base to go off and visit San Marino (50mins away), Rimini (20 mins) and Ravenna (45). Cesenatico is a nice seaside town with a nice promenade you can walk down on the beach front with plenty of amenities but I'd definitely recommend visiting the aforementioned towns to get a more historic flavour. As for the hotel, it was fabulous. Key mention to the exceptional cleanliness of the entire place. The staff are also incredible, they can't do enough for you and whilst for some English isn't that well understood they are all charming and made a real fuss of us and our three children. Special mention to the tireless Maria, and all of the staff in the restaurant Mattia, Giuseppe, Bianca and Simona. The room was clean and had everything we needed if not a little small for 5 people, we learned once we arrived that they also offer adjoining apartments which are more spacious but these can only be booked directly through the hotel's website. The swimming pool is pristine and very large, and had a diving board which we all enjoyed. There are plenty of sunbeds and lots of space. As we visited slightly before the start of the season we almost had it entirely to ourselves. It's definitely one of the nicest pools I've ever had on holiday. The food is also mainly excellent, there is a regular buffet of salads and breads and then every day there are different menu options which you have to order the day before. Plenty of variety and on the whole very tasty. A couple of considerations, not negatives as such - the food isn't hugely child friendly but this wasn't a huge problem as there is always lots of side options and plentiful of lovely fresh fruit and we learned quickly not to order too much. Also, the AC in the room was hit and miss, some nights it worked, others it didn't, when it didn't it really impaired our sleep. We asked at reception and they seemed to switch it on, I'm not sure if you in the room have complete control over it. Finally, we thought we had booked all inclusive but it turns out that wasn't the case. Meals three times a day are included and wine with lunch and dinner also, but as for drinks the rest of the day that wasn't included. This wasn't an issue but not what we expected. All in all a fabulous family holiday, thanks so much to Miguel the manager and his team."

"Hotel that is good for those who are traveling. Not more than one night. It is good for the boys who spend the days on the beach and the evening are out (and just come back to sleep) nice staff, good food, but structure to be renovated and refurbished. Air conditioned not cooling, fridge bar that almost doesn't work, bathroom that could be better structured. We had the terrace, it lies on the fancy grass carpet when it is wet (the discharge of the air conditioner empty above), for families I don't recommend it."

"Charming cozy hotel with free parking and very nice owners at reception. We stayed for the night off season so everyting was relaxed, checkout was flexible and the super breakfast was served until late. In the room everything works, there was a small balcony, shower was strong with many towels. Room rate and value were great. Happy to recommend."

"Another great stay at the Hotel Britannia in August 2024. A hotel I used to visit as a child on our summer holidays hasn't changed much since the old days and still holds a special charm and some lovely memories. I have bought my family on holiday to The Britannia four times now and it never disappoints. Most recently last summer we spent a week as a family with our 3 children of 9, 7 and 4. We found the hotel to be clean, the rooms well made up every day and the staff charming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is especially well placed for children as you are on the beach in minutes and the pool right by the hotel is big and generally not too busy. The food was very tasty as usual and the wine was well priced. I think the value for money you get at The Britannia is hard to beat for a family holiday. We will be back!"
