"Well, this was different. In a good way! It's rustic, fun, quaint, memorable. We stayed in the River Cottage and it certainly met our expectations. Nice view of the river, an outdoor fire pit (all set to go on arrival), fairy lights on the fence, the sound of birds, comfy bed, selection of books and a backgammon set. All we needed for a little holiday. Very peaceful - yes, it's rustic but that's part of the charm."

"Regular business traveller called on Friday 22nd March late afternoon to book a room for Sunday, to be told by the Manager” only 1 room would be clean on Sunday, and it was take it or nothing .” I chose nothing because room on that side get noisy from trucks on highway. Since found some great cabins in Chinchilla so I will not be back for the room or food from hotel !!!!!"

"Beutiful place to stay. There are themed rooms that are amazing. The owner is great and very thoughtful. We stayed 2 times so far and we got to stay in a music room and a bar room. Definitely the place to stay when you are in Chinchilla. There is also a retro arcade that is great. Thanks for everything 🤗"
