"The location was pretty good. Very close to Central station. Service provided by staff was excellent. They were very kind and understanding. Me and my friend landed in Sydney early in the morning and our check in wasn't until 3. We didn't know what to do with our luggage. We thought we could ask the hotel if we could leave our luggage until check in and the staff were very nice and let us keep our bags there. It was the same for when were returning. Our flight wasn't until the night, and we were able to keep our baggage at the hotel even after check-out. They also provide some pastries and breakfast items in the morning, and always have coffee and tea available at the lobby.
The room itself was ok. It wasn't the best. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan, which was quite troublesome after hot showers. The room is quite average.
Liked the experience overall!"
"Overall, the hotel is decent. The location is super convenient, right next to Central Station, making it easy to catch trains, buses, and light rail. The service was also good, but the bathroom didn't have a door, so the floor got really wet after a shower."
"Once you get your expectations right- this is a no-elevator, shared bathroom accommodation with a bar as their reception and concierge and no room service- you will be okay. Location is great- near Central station and around shops and restaurants. There is no room service and bathrooms are clean but very basic. There’s only one toilet on the 2nd floor (that’s where I stayed, not sure about 1st floor) which was usually okay but there can be waiting time in the morning. There is no power outlet near the kettle in the room; I had to use it near the bed!"
"The hotel is located in the bustling Park Avenue district, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the activity. It's next to a green plaza and a shopping center with a supermarket and Chinese restaurants. It's super convenient, less than a 10-minute walk to Broadway Shopping Centre, and directly opposite the University of Technology Sydney. There are plenty of bus stops nearby, and it's less than a fifteen-minute walk to Central Station and about ten minutes to the University of Sydney campus, making it easy to get anywhere. The room is large, quiet, and well-equipped. Breakfast is Western-style; the selection is standard but filling. The only minor drawback is the shower room, which lacks a door, leading to water splashing out. The staff are enthusiastic. Otherwise, everything else is excellent."
"An inviting but posh space in a converted factory space. Room was spacious and industrial-chic in style, while the dining and roof top were both devine. Full marks!!!"
"A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Sydney!
I recently stayed at Spice On Broadway and was absolutely blown away by the experience. The studios are spotless, modern, and Each room has a full kitchen, private bathroom, and comfortable bedding, making it perfect for both short and long stays.
The location is unbeatable"
"Send the children to school. The hotel is located close to Sydney University and about 20 minutes' walk from the downtown Chinatown. It is relatively quiet. It is an apartment-style hotel, and it is convenient to cook and wash clothes. The hotel may be older, but the hygiene is still good. The front desk is not 24 hours. Check-in is from 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays. On weekends, there seems to be no one from 2 pm to 4 pm. If you arrive at the hotel when someone is not at work, you need to contact the hotel in advance!"
