So we decided to negotiate with the hotel to stay only one night today and not tomorrow. On the night of the 21st, we had to live in this moldy and damp room. The room has a sloping roof, and the two sides of the bed are sloping roofs. Summary of the whole thing: The hotel is dishonest, the hotel did not inform me in advance of any defects in the room, and the actual room did not match the price at all. "It's a coffee shop located in an old building. Upon check-in, I was given a small loft room; it was so small I could barely stand upright without being near the bed. It was also significantly different from the pictures shown on the booking page. When I requested a room change, the hotel said there were no rooms available. "Stayed over Friday and Saturday. Small room with two twin beds right on their outside courtyard. Note on window to call for instructions upon arrival.No ventilation except sun roof opening, as windows didn’t open. Got a bit steamy when it was raining and we couldn’t open roof vent. Fan in bathroom didn’t work. Light on bathroom mirror didn’t work. TV has a lot of interference unless you used streaming stations. Comfortable bed, good room cleaning during day, coffee/tea in room. Full English breakfast was excellent. So great location, comfy beds, ok for short time."

"Dissapointing , this is one of our favourite Pubs. However we were not impressed with our Meal. My husband AND I had the roast Lamb. Firstly they forgot my roast potatoes , There were two very thin slices of lamb . We had difficulty cutting it as it was so tough and fatty. I left mine has I couldn’t chew it We did mention it and was told they would tell the chef . It’s such a shame as we have always loved the food here"

"Excellent location, very clean room, bathroom was lovely with underfloor heating , fantastic lighting in the mirror in bathroom for applying make-up etc.. shower was large and nice big shower head. We had a four poster bed which was very comfy , lastly breakfast was really nice great choice, you leave your choices menu on the table in the breakfast room the night before . Micheal’s restaurant downstairs is very nice for dinner we throughly enjoyed our meal , staff were really friendly too."
