"I had high hopes for the guesthouse in Chuzhou based on the pictures on the platform, but I was utterly disappointed upon arrival. It's the worst guesthouse I've stayed in in recent years, and I've kept all the photos; this is the truth. First, the hygiene: filthy and chaotic doesn't even begin to describe it. The floor was covered in visible trash and debris, thick dust accumulated in the corners, and flies and mosquitoes swarmed everywhere, making it impossible to sleep peacefully all night. The bedding was even worse; I found small insects and hair on the bed, making it impossible to sleep against my skin. I had to make do with my coat. The kettle had a murky, unidentified liquid inside, making it unsafe to use for boiling water. The hygiene standards were completely substandard. Second, the false advertising: the booking page clearly stated that a minibar was included, but the room was empty upon arrival, and none of the promised services were provided. The business advertises 24-hour concierge service, but when you contact the concierge for any issues, they simply say they're not at the guesthouse and pass the buck to the housekeeping staff. The response time is extremely slow, and requests are difficult to resolve. The so-called 24/7 service is purely a gimmick. The hygiene and service were a complete disaster. Paying for a terrible and unpleasant stay is a huge waste of money. Traveling with children should be approached with extreme caution!"

"At the end of the May Day holiday, I chose to visit Chuzhou, which is an hour's drive from Nanjing. I stayed at the Arcadia Hotel. The hotel has a beautiful environment and good parent-child rooms. My children like it very much. The outdoor activities are a bit monotonous, but they are enough to relax. "I didn't expect that there would be such a surprising holiday experience on the edge of the city and deep in the mountains. We arrived in the evening and found the visitor center easily according to the location. After parking the car at the door, the check-in was efficient, the service was good, and the experience was smooth. The big bed we booked was on the second floor of Sun Chao's house, which was closest to the visitor center. After passing the wooden tile-roofed archway with a full texture of the homestay, there was a path paved with old millstones. The low wall next to it was decorated with cute green plants that I couldn't name. Walked up a wooden staircase to the second floor and opened the fence door. First, there was an independent tea room. Swipe the card to enter the room. The bathtub, big bed, TV, refrigerator, independent lazy sofa and tea table tea sets were arranged in an orderly manner. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the toilet is also electric. The disposable products are of good quality, and the linens are clean and soft. There are also many small details that show quality in the room, such as bamboo cylinders for umbrellas, bamboo trash cans, and Xiaomi air purifiers."
