The view from the main property on the dune allows for breathtaking sunsets while enjoying your favourite drink. The kids absolutely loved exploring what the rock puddles had to offer which gets exposed during low tide. Grootvlei/On The Dunes will see us again soon."

Clanwilliam Hotel

"This is a nice hotel the middle of Clanwilliam with a great restaurant as well. Pool is quite small and not very interesting. The rooms are fine and tidy and there is good free wifi. Unfortunately I got sick on the morning that we left but the lady at reception was very kind and helpful. She gave me tips and advice and some things to take with me. I really appreciated that."

We would particularly thank Michel who was able to move our booking by a day when our overnight connection was delayed & also Cheryl who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in providing advice on the best locations for flower viewing. The guest house is charmingly rustic with the most lovely gardens and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Clanwilliam area."

Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Wellness Retreat

"Stunning remote location with fabulous views. Food was all delicious, especially the private dining experience in the old shepherds hut. Willow the chef did us a whole feast and our guide Tristan was very knowledgeable on everything at BK including the fynbos, stars and rock art. The spa treatments were very relaxing and we enjoyed the drive, hiking and the gym. The whole team were attentive and professional. We stayed in Paterson and was well appointed with a massive patio and sitting room with a fire, which is definitely needed in Winter months!"
