Find the Cheap Guangzhou Hotels

As soon as I arrived at the Clayton Hotel, I was immediately struck by the grand exterior of the hotel. I stayed on the 11th floor, and from the high floor I could see the Guangzhou landmark ”Little Slender Waist”. The scenery below was very pleasant. In addition, their morning tea on the fourth floor was also good, with many styles and not very expensive.

Nice Hotel with very friendly reception staff. Clean and good size room. A lovely view of the city from the windows. Very good breakfast. Two good size bottles of water provided. Close to the shopping mall, restaurants and steps away from subway station. A really good choice for a Canton Fair visitor, would certainly stay again.

The front reception staff went beyond their normal check in duties by answering my various queries on direction to different venues and suggested better transport options which ease my travel and time. Ms Hikari Huo in particular even offered her phone number and asked that if I encountered difficulty to ask for help and get them to call her. That is very thoughtful of her. The hotel also greeted female guests with gifts in the lobby on International women day.

the hotel looks like it is newly renovated, very clean and beautifully decorated. they have all the amenities. the check-in process is easy. staff are very helpful - special thanks to Fan at the front desk. the location is very strategic for tourist especially muslims.

Overall, I am satisfied. The location of this hotel is very convenient, just at the Panyu exit of South China Expressway. The location is very good. Next to it is Galaxy Bay. The management of this hotel is very good. Breakfast is issued with coupons. The price-performance ratio is very good. The surrounding facilities are in place. I hope it will continue to be maintained.

The hotel is not bad, my only negative was the breakfast was not great quality. Low grade coffee machine’s, too many queues to get and egg fried and average choice. The other thing is you hear the subway coming and going from the room so it’s a bit noisy. It may not be all the floors but my floor 15 was a victim. Generally service was good and facilities good. Oh , could not find iron in my room.

Today I had an experience with the front dest customer service where they inconsistently applies charges to breakfasts. They never charged my son before and on this particular stay it is the Canton fair. Because of the influx of people they now decided to charge the breakfast fee. I phoned the front desk to explain and they just referred to their policies not listening to may complaint of inconsistency. Later he transferred me to a second person which the assistant explained the sitution. This assitant asked me “how can I help you” acting like he had no idea. His english competancy was not strong as he asked me to repeat and speak slower. I decided that after breakfast I will go down to sort out the situation. When I arrived at the front desk, they showed me the policies, again not caring about the distrust formed due to the inconsistency intill I showed them my previous payments and bookings on paper. By this time the front desk person (Luo) who has been speaking to me in English, stopped making eye contact, put on his mask and refused to talk to me. He called another person over to tell me I should please wait for the manager. I was very uspet by the way I was treated. The manager tried to fix the situation by giving us the “half price” breakfast off to keep me as a loyal customer. I am very dissapointed by their customer service and I am unsure if I will support this brand again after this experience.

Amazing hotel! Felt great and at home. Especially liked the smart house options. Like automated light and curtains control etc. Staff is super nice but doesn’t speak English. The breakfast is good. Would be great if they had food all day cuz I couldn’t find any western restaurants in the area. But Mac Donald’s is a next door. Came for a Canton fair - that was a bit too far. But the area is lovely.

It's so perfect haha. I go there often. I stay there every time I go on a business trip. It's very nice because it's clean and the washing machine can be used 24 hours a day.

My family is quite satisfied. The room is large, the facilities are sufficient, and there is a clothes drying pole, which is suitable for staying for a few days. The price-performance ratio is good. It's a pity that breakfast is not open now. My family said that the breakfast tasted good before.
