Crown Resorts at Silverwoods

"I like Treasure Lake and is one of 3 RCI Resorts that I can go to that is close to Pittsburgh, PA. This Resort is under new ownership, maybe things will get better. The check-in process at the Resort currently is terrible, it was better before and even that needed improvement. The nice part about RCI Silverwoods (WolfRun is closed) / Gated Community, is that they have a great outdoor pool with jacuzzi, views and food stand, unfortunately for us, our week being there was closed due to not having lifeguards with students going back to school. RCI should have had this information, because I would have chose the week after. They have a Recreation Center with an Indoor Pool, unfortunately that closes at 4 pm. Said we could use the KOA Campsite Outdoor Pool (no jacuzzi) but drove around there for 40 minutes and decided to leave. This Resort has no Ski Lodge, it was turned into an Event & Conference Center, Outdoor Pool, Jacuzzi; I just wanted to mention it. There is no Monthy Events Newsletter or is there good information with the check-in Receptionist and they have few Brochures. Best to look into things before going. Also, they use real keys verses magnetic, which is fine. There are 3 Lake Beaches here and 2 PGA Golf courses, which were a little difficult. Duffers Restaurant is at WolfRun Golf and 19-Hole at Silverwoods were we stayed and played. The WolfRun Units are closed, and I think will be turning into Townhomes as apartments. Maybe they were losing money on WolfRun which are more run down compared to Silverwoods. I stayed last year too and played at the WolfRun Golf. The Units were almost the same as Silverwoods, we still enjoyed it. Get to know your way around in the light, hard to find things at night."
