Commodore Hotel
8.9 (114 reviews)

Commodore Hotel ★★★

📍 4 Westbourne Pl, Ballyvoloon, Cobh

"The hotel was expensive for the night as there was no breakfast included. I also then had to pay for parking, which should be included as it was expensive to stay with no breakfast included. Staff had assigned a parking space for me, and on my return from a family funeral, my space was gone. I parked in another space and when I informed the staff they asked me to move my car to another space. I declined. I had paid for my space, and it was gone on my return. Staff seemed to know nothing of what was going on in parking spaces. Disappointing experience. I would always stay at the commodore but will probably seek somewhere else going forward."

Commodore Hotel ★★★
"The hotel was excellent with regard to location and facilities The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpfulll. The restaurant food was very good, well presented and plentiful. The bar whilst we were there for the weekend, ran out of brandy and rose wine, so they could perhaps review their stock levels to avoid this happening in the future. The rooms were lovely ,spacious, well fitted out but lacked 'soul' perhaps a couple of pictures etc would help. Overall, we would very much recomend this hotel and will be returning in the future."

WatersEdge Hotel ★★★
"The location is excellent, right on the beach, with a perfect ocean view. It has its own parking lot. The hotel staff are friendly and patient. There's an old-fashioned elevator, and the room was very satisfactory. Kof isn't large; the citywalk is perfectly feasible."
