"I honestly cannot say enough beautiful things about Saffire Freycinet! From our pickup at the airport (thank you Graham for the wonderful chats!) to our departure, we had the absolute best time. This is truly most beautiful property! The details are immaculate and the staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. This level of service is all performed without any intrusion, which is beyond impressive! As an example, I casually mentioned to a staff member upon arrival at the airport (the Hobart airport has a beautiful lounge) that I was excited to see the Tasmanian Devils on property. When we arrived on property later that day, the staff had left a book about Tasmanian Devils with a handwritten note for me in our room. This is such a special touch and means the world. We met so many wonderful people during our trip including Nicole and Frasier (truly amazing guides who were personable, informative, and fun), Phillip (great service in the dining room), and Ashlee (pristine customer service). The rooms are stunning with floor to ceiling views of the mountains (remote controlled blinds are available for privacy), a double rain shower, heated floor tiles, and a full mini bar (refilled twice daily). The food is excellent and the wine pairing never missed. The activities are great and our personal favorites included the hike to the Wineglass Bay Lookout, Tasmanian Devil experience, and the trip to the Oyster Farm. I was lucky enough to enjoy a massage while on property, which was relaxing (only complaint was that I asked for back and neck focus, which was largely neglected). Honestly, I cannot wait to come back!"

"The hotel is in Freycinet National Park, about 2.5 hours drive from Hobart Airport. Because it is right-hand drive, I was really not used to it at first. The whole island of Tasmania is S-shaped curves, and there are often wild animals crossing the road, so try to choose to drive when the sight is good. Freycinet Lodge has a good ecological environment. There is no gym or swimming pool, but the beach and forest park are a 10-minute walk away. Running 10 kilometers every day, breathing fresh air, and getting close to nature and wild animals, it feels great! The hotel’s own restaurant has good meals. If you want to eat something else, you have to drive out, which usually takes at least 15 minutes by car. We tried the hotel’s chartered boat and paddleboard activities, which felt great. When we went out to sea, we also saw seals basking in the sun, which was very cute. Looking forward to coming again next time!"

"Convenient location! For self-driving tours, there is a gas station next to it, as well as a supermarket for supplies, cafes and delicious restaurants, so you don't have to worry about three meals a day. After checking in, you will be given a map of the resort to teach you how to find your house. There is your own parking space next to the house. The kitchen in the room is fully equipped, the toilet is clean, there are two rooms, one is a double bed with electric heating blankets, and the other is two bunk beds for four people. The only biggest drawback is that there is no Wi-Fi in the house. Its Wi-Fi is only available at a certain location in the resort outside the house, and there is also Wi-Fi in the restaurant, which is not very convenient. It is always included in the booking information. Then enjoy the scenery next to it. This house is very comfortable. It is recommended to stay in it at night in winter. If you want to go out for a walk, bring a flashlight if necessary."
