"We stayed at Hotel Boutique Molino de Enmedio for a week and it was absolutely great. Excellent rooms, spacious, excellent sanitary facilities (separate toilet, sink and walk-in shower) and importantly: good beds. Breakfast was well organised with plenty of choice. We had dinner several times, provided by the host. Delicious!!! The weather in mid-September was about 6-7 degrees colder in Huéneja than in Almería on the beach. (21-28 degrees) Approx. 215 km from Malaga Airport. Distance to Almería beach approx. 90 km. Also to Granada approx. 100 km. Easy to do with cruise control on, because the Autovia is not busy. All in all, a great stay at Marc & Luz and highly recommended."

"Two things can be highly recommended here: the full blast of AC, which, unlike in other provincial Spanish towns, is completely in the guest’s control, and the cleanliness of the rooms, with a very efficient cleaning staff. The front desk is very helpful, the WiFi is decent and there’s a laundromat right next door, for long time travelers. The main problem is its distance from the center of town…a good twenty minute walk which can be very unpleasant in the summer time, and it’s even farther to the bus and train stations. Also, the attached restaurant is not very good, so getting a meal involves a long walk."

"We had never stayed in a cave before so we were unsure what to expect but our beautiful well equipped cave surpassed any expectations we may have had. It was so refreshing to enter it and leave the 40 degrees August heat outside to be in the cool and peaceful interior. The caves have been recently refurbished, by the new owners, and are tastefully and comfortably furnished with dining table, sofa and TV. There is a useful kitchen with ceramic hob and large refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and we slept so well in the cool and peaceful interior of the cave. We really enjoyed sitting outside watching the amazing sunsets in the evenings. El Atochal Origenes is a truly peaceful and relaxing place. Thank you Daniel and Maruchi for being the best hosts – you advised us of interesting places to visit, nothing was too much trouble for you, when it came to helping us enjoy our stay. You both could not have done more to make us feel welcome and to enjoy our stay. We would definitely love to return"

"A hotel where we will definitely stay again. The reception was super nice and the room was very comfortable. It had been a while since I found a hotel with mattresses that were suitable for sleeping and here I was able to rest perfectly as it was obvious that there was quality. Despite being a two-star hotel, we really liked the treatment we received and the stay, so we will stay again on our next visit to Guadix."
