Worst part is the water, all reviews are accurate, you literally get a dribble… took me forever to wash my hair. Really?? Also B&B description is slightly deceptive as there is no Breakfast on offer."

"Lovely Spanish traditional hotel. Welcoming, super clean and accommodating. The lady who owns it (apologies I didn’t ask) is super friendly, speaks excellent English and is wonderfully helpful. Rooms are comfortable and the toiletries and towels plentiful. Breakfast is continental and there’s lots of it. Would go back."

"Loved this boutique Hostal. Beautifully renovated old haberdashery right by the central square of Competa, but quiet and with great views from the terrace. As a solo traveller, the shared spaces (kitchen, lounge and roof terrace) were a real bonus. I was impressed by how well organised and clean these were and how warm it was kept, which is important in a mountain village in winter. Rafa has books on walking in the area and is happy to offer advice and ideas. I extended my planned stay as it was such a super place and great value."

Now running this true BED & BREAKFAST. High above Cómpeta with commanding views of this whitewashed, hilltop town. Breakfast was great, don’t missing the spec (ham) and eggs if offered. Room just fine, snooker table and terraces, Jeep tour on demand… I think you will love this spot."
