"Not a very good experience staying at the fox ridge resort. We had overgrown bushes blocking our view from the outside space from our room. Shower head is really old and not much water pressure. Toilet didn't flush really well and lights in bathroom flickered. Very old and really needs a lot of updates."

Hotel Indigo North Conway by IHG

"I booked through IHG app. It was our first time using Indigo. I selected a 1 King room with Mountain View. When I arrived, I was put in a 2 Queen Mountain View. I questioned the front desk about why I’m not getting what I booked. I was told they oversold 1 King rooms and my account said my preference was 2 Queen room. I had booked the 1 King that was available because my spouse had a stroke and it would have been easier for them to maneuver around with less furniture. I checked in and to my surprise I wasn’t given the king room. The girl at the front desk didn’t even tell me upfront. I asked before heading up to the room. This was the first time it has happened. I told them I wasn’t happy. I contacted IHG CS on March 23, 2026 and they said the hotel would contact me in 48 hours. A week and a half went by. Nothing! I contacted CS again today and the said the hotel says I put in a special request for a 2 Queen. That is an outright lie. I made no such request. The girl at the front desk with said that they overbooked King rooms and that I was put in a queen room because my preference on my account. There was a reason I booked the 1 King. So, it’s my fault that the hotel overbooked their King rooms. If I wanted a queen, I would have booked it during booking because a king and a queen were both available the day I booked it. So to cover their butts with corporate, they lied. Says a lot."
