"Our two-bedroom apartment had lovely view overlooking the ocean from the large balcony. The apartment was spacious and clean and had a separate laundry. There was a clothes airer, shopping trolley, pool toys and games for children supplied. The location is ideal as the beach is just across the road, as too is the boardwalk. Tweed Heads is just a five-minute walk and there you will find a small shopping center with the three major supermarkets for your needs. There is secure underground parking and MacDonalds is inside the complex, and there are several cafes outside the comples."

"We had a lovely stay at Blue C. It is well located near the shops, Woolworths is walking distance and there are plenty of places to eat. A short walk to beautiful beaches. The swimming pool is perfect for young children, is well maintained and was the perfect temperature. Staff are responsive and welcoming. The view is lovely. Hope to be back again someday soon."

"Ocean Plaza is such a lovely family holiday destination. The view is amazing every day, lovely clean and spacious apartment - plenty of cupboard and storage space and generous bathrooms. We like the covered access to the shops below, and through to the beach. We love to park the car and leave it for the week - great choice of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Can’t wait to go again!"

"We had a fine stay overall. The highlights were definitely the location and the facilities - the rooftop pool, BBQs and sauna are fantastic. However, the rooms felt a bit outdated with musty carpets and older furniture. We were also surprised by the lack of some basics - no soap, fresh towels or kitchen supplies were provided. Great for a dip in the pool, however, the rooms could use an update."

"We've stayed at this complex a number of times, now. Very good location, 5 minute walk to the North Kirra Surf Club, closer to 10 minutes to St Helens Burger Bar, Kirra Beach Hotel, Kirra Surf Club. Unit 201, is what they call a 3 bed Family Apartment. It also has it's own pool, located on the unit's extra large private terrace. The pool is not heated, so extremely cold in winter. If you like sunbaking, I'd suggest bringing your own banana sun loungers. The terrace gets great sun all day long, as it runs from the beach side, to the GC Hwy side, at the northern end of the complex. During this winter visit, we were able to enjoy the sun from 9am to about 3:30pm. Special mention to Karen at Reception. Her customer service, attitude and friendliness were outstanding. We'll definitely be staying here again !!"
Bella Mare Coolangatta Beachside Apartments
"I had an absolutely awful experience staying at Bella Mare Coolangatta. The couch in the apartment had been urinated on, and the entire place reeked of an unbearable stench. It was clear that no proper cleaning had been done before my stay. To make matters worse, I tried calling and emailing management multiple times, and they completely ignored me—no response, no accountability. This level of negligence is absolutely unacceptable. If you’re considering staying here, think twice. There are plenty of other places in Coolangatta that actually care about cleanliness and customer service. Bella Mare is a disgrace."

"Kirra Palms is a fantastic place to stay. Staff helped carry our luggage upstairs which was much appreciated. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Walking distance to everything, beach, surf club, shops and restaurants. Secure parking. Would recommend."
