"Not a 4 star hotel by a country mile. Its like stepping back in time to Fawlty Towers. Massively.underdtaffed with one woman running around doing pretty much everything at a millionmiles an hour. Whole experience felt very rushed and stressful. Customer service was poor as they were all so stressed. Room was dirty and the whole place is in massive need of a refurb. Really disappointing."

"We loved our stay here and are definitely planning to come back again! We stayed in the double room with a garden view and you can see the mountains through the skylight. The place’s whole aesthetic is just gorgeous, with the original high beam ceilings and stones/brickwork integrated into the walls. The owner is lovely and very welcoming. She gave tailored recommendations for places to visit and walks to go on during our stay, and really went above and beyond. The homemade packed lunch was great and only a small fee. We didn’t get to try the extensive whiskey selection while there, but looking forward to doing this next time!"
