Vacancéole - Residence le Domaine du Bosquet ★★★
"Very nice stay in a very pleasant environment, swimming pool and more amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful."
Hotel le Quercy, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western ★★★★
"Very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay seamless and comfortable. The room and toilet is big with towels and shower soap provided. For drivers, private parking is available within hotel compound."
B&B Hotel Brive-la-Gaillarde ★★★
"The room is spacious enough for 1 or 2 nights. Delightful shower, shower cabin was small. Beds were also delicious. The room is well isolated, making you hear little of the other guests, only when they walk and talk. It is near the road, but a walk is not going. There is hardly a trap to walk. With fear, friendly staff who came to remove a big spin ;) I couldn't check out the doors outside the screen but I found out that I shouldn't enter the booking number but the confirmation number."
Hôtel de Charme le Chêne Vert
"Very small room, very careful deco and very friendly staff"
Hotel le Collonges ★★★
"We picked this hotel for its central location and nearby parking. Overnight parking is free but we had to drive all around the one way system to gain access to it. The room was small but had a comfortable large bed and everything necessary for an overnight stay. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Helping us to find good restaurants in the old town and booking a table for us. We had breakfast and it was an excellent buffet with plenty of choice."
Premiere Classe Brive la Gaillarde Ouest ★★
"The service was super friendly. We were kindly offered a voucher for a discount at the nearby Campanile restaurant for our dinner. In the morning although we did not pay to eat breakfast we were allowed to have boiling water for our own mug of tea."
Kyriad Brive la Gaillarde Centre ★★★
"We have stayed in this hotel many times, and the service is great. This time we stayed in room number 6. There is an automatic card reader for the door. The ciity tax was 1.20 euos per person. The rooms, though a little small, are cosy and comfortable, with a kettle and tea/coffee/sugar, plenty of choices of pillows, a bed comforter, good bed linen, modern furnishings, and a good, clean bathroom with hairdryer. The shower works well. There is a TV (didnt find any English channels but it didnt matter to me), good lighting, and helpful reception staff. It features a restaurant and bar, as well as a small seating area. Outside the hotel directly to the right there is a great Asian restaurant with take away service plus a sit down buffet. Across the main road to the front of the hotel is Le Clerc supermarket. The hotel is very close to the Saint Germain Clinic and the Main Brive Hospital, and easy to walk to both."
Hôtel Restaurant les Coquelicots the Originals Relais ★★★
"Lovely country-style hotel in a beautiful part of rural France. The restaurant is great and the food is locally sourced and copious. Plenty of parking spaces. The rooms are quiet and clean with a great bed. Well worth a visit when in the area."
Le Village des Monédières ★★★
"A small bar, snacking, breakfast service and many other things."

Domaine du Vidal
"We have been very pleasantly staying with my sister and me in the Vidal domain. Their host table was very quickly complicit with other guests, thanks to Thierry's entertainment talent and Bruno's careful presence, and the conversations were animated. The rooms are perfect as all the rest of the manoir decorated with a great tasty. We keep a great memory of our passage. Thank you very much for these two days."
Le Beaulieu - Hôtel et Restaurant - Logis Hôtels
"The hotel and breakfast were part of a walking tour in the Dordogne valley. The room was large and adequate but had a very dark color scheme, walls and furniture. The breakfast was OK, great yogurt, bread, etc. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the meal was very good."
Chambres de séjour et brasserie du Coiroux
Domaine Spalazen Nature
Vacancéole - le Domaine des Monédières
"Magnificent region, the proximity of the lake and the possibility of swimming there is a real plus. The bedding (sofa bed) could lack comfort for a stay longer than a few days in a cabin."
Le Prieuré Corrèze
"It is located in a quiet mountain village, but because it is in the mountains, the road is very rugged and narrow. The address is also difficult to find, there is a small road sign in the village, we are lost at the beginning. No one answered the phone at the front desk, and finally asked the road to find the entrance to this hotel. The hotel was once the residence of the priest, the lobby was quite distinctive, the room was spacious and the view was beautiful. But the heating was very small. After we asked to turn the heating on, they raised it by a degree Celsius, but it was still very cold. The hotel restaurant does not provide meals on Mondays (except for breakfast), we had to go out for dinner on a cold day after opening a day. Although this is common in France (where restaurants are closed a day or two a week), if marked on the website, consumers will have a choice, at least in advance or choose another hotel. The second day of our stay was New Year's Eve, and the hotel's restaurant was fully booked, resulting in us not being able to dine in the hotel restaurant we stayed in. Although the hotel manager claimed to have tried to call me, I did never answer his call. The hotel's restaurant should have given priority to serving guests in the hotel. This is one of the reasons why consumers book hotels. Now the hotel is open to the public for the turnover of its own restaurant, resulting in guests staying at the hotel unable to eat. Although the hotel manager finally helped to order meals from outside the hotel, we ended up using takeaway dinner in our room, but this is completely different from the feeling of dining in the restaurant. When checking out, the front desk repeatedly miscalculated the account, either by counting more money or missing a bottle of wine. Still under my reminder, she made up. Hotel catering prices are pre-tax prices. Must admit that the hotel manager and lobby lady are still very polite, which is commendable. But if I am the manager, I will send at least one A dessert or a head dish to appease the loss of guests unable to eat at the hotel, but unfortunately he did not do so, which is a bit disappointing."
LogisHotels le Relais du Quercy
"We had a room in an annex above the pool bar (which was not in use), not in the main hotel. The room was away from the main road and with no traffic noise. The hotel had a car park, and a pool which we used. It was a very short walk to the small town centre. Photos on the website were not matched by the reality, as the room had very shabby and dated decor and furnishings, including the bathroom. The bed linen also seemed old and not very fresh. The area around the pool was untidy and the car park was overrun by chickens. We were very disappointed by our room which we had booked for the first 2 nights of our holiday, and only stayed in the hotel to sleep, otherwise preferring to go out. We did not spend any time in the main hotel building or risk the restaurant, so we can't comment on that. I am sorry to post such a negative review and it seems to me that traditional family-run French hotels of the kind we used to visit in the 70s may be struggling now, but this one needs some energy, love and money spent on it to improve."
Relais du Bas Limousin
"We stopped in this wonderful logis on our way through France after a shambolic disembarking and a 6 hour cross country drive. This hotel was pure bliss. A cold beer, a great meal, 9 hours of sleep and a good breakfast we felt so much better."
Logis Deshors-Foujanet
"Stayed here one night on our way to the Med coast. Ideal location for us, surrounded by just amazing winding roads. It’s family run and everyone was really friendly and helpful. They have a small sauna and an automatic massage table which my husband loved! Bed was comfortable. We ate in their restaurant which was lovely with some interesting regional dishes. Motos can be parked safely out of sight around the back."
Logis Central Hôtel - Restaurant & Spa
"We had the Apartment, it was clean and well equiped but a little bit old fashioned. Breakfast was really good, Restaurant nicely decorated"
Chambres d'Hôtes la Coloniale
"We had a very bad experience of this place we came for our wedding month with a Wonderbox box two nights and two breakfast first night it was very well spent in a very beautiful and spacious room we we spent the day to visit the surroundings and we returned to the room to 20:00 We were returned for 5min that the door of our room is open the son of the boss entered to ask us to leave who was confirmed by the boss at the telephone because the room was rented for other people without giving us a way to return we had to do 3h way to go home"
Domaine des Monedieres - Chalet Lac 4-6
Hotelf1 Brive Ussac
"You don't expect much comfort at this price, but a minimum... Tiny room, bathroom in the convertible room a rip-off... No towels. An all-you-can-eat breakfast... Don't pay 4.90 for a coffee machine that doesn't work and a jar of Nutella shared by everyone. Never again."
Ibis Egletons
"Very friendly staff; reservation made easy over the phone. We have limited mobility and we were provided with a first floor room, with a very accessible bathroom. Dinner was good, simple but tasty. Breakfast was very good with a buffet and wide choice of beverages. Again staff was friendly and helpful."
The Originals Access, Hôtel Tulle
"The hotel is a very nice location for my stay, and I would like to thank the entire team for their welcome, goodness and professionalism. I have dinner every evening on the ground, simple but once again, with a small care team. If I only put 3 for rooms with innocent cleanness, it's just that we need to increase and improve the equipment. Thanks to the team."
Abelha Hôtel le France
"The location was good and comfortable"
