"This has been such a fantastic holiday for our family. The location is excellent with direct access to the beach, which was beautiful and quiet. The hotel is modern, exceptionally clean and well kept. Our room was spacious and with everything you would need, it was cleaned daily to a great standard. (We slept so well we nearly missed breakfast a couple of times!!). We stayed at half board and found the food nice with lots to choose from both at breakfast and dinner. The drinks were reasonably priced so half board was a great option for us. The pool area was always very clean with a great atmosphere. This was my children's first experience with a 'kids club' and they thoroughly enjoyed their experience there when they went. There was a variety of activities for adults to have a go at too and the staff who ran them were very approachable and engaging. The staff were ALL so kind and friendly - truly! We've been lucky to stay at some lovely hotels and enjoy trying new places but this was the first time myself and my children all said we would definitely come back. I would recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing break away, the area is quiet this time of year apparently but this was perfect for us."

"Location is very convenient and easy accessto the beachand walkway, staff are very helpful, reception guys were extraordinary at check-in , weather was a pit clod and windy, not convenient for beach enjoyment. Rooms were good with comfortable living area, pillows can be more comfortable, fixtures a pit dated, one sink was not draining well, noisy humming sound when we flush WC. Breakfast and dinner were good and varied but drinks are not included in dinner, hot pool are for extra cost which was a mandatory for kids in such cold weather."

"We found the hotel very nice, clean and tidy throughout. The food in the restaurant was as expected, you could always find something nice to eat although there were never any hot plates. The only complaint we had was how we (all inclusive guests) were treated at the pool bar. We were made to feel like we hadn’t paid for food. The people that ‘paid’ had their food taken to their table on China plates with napkins. On the one occasion that we did eat at the pool bar, we ordered at the bar and then sat at a table, thinking our burgers would be bought to us, like everyone else around, Natalia, the waitress shouted over to us and pointed to the burgers on the bar (paper plates) and we had to go get them, I also went back for a serviette and it was practically snatched out of my hand and I was told ‘no, no, you have these ones’, tiny little ones. Just because we paid for all inclusive doesn’t mean we haven’t paid!! Also be aware there are no shops around."

"I will start by saying this is a lovely hotel. I would absolutely recommend it to my Spanish friends. Unfortunately it’s not really aimed at international guests. It is full of Spanish people who don’t speak English, hardly met any other nationality. I would absolutely love to speak Spanish but at the moment I don’t, and nor do my family. The language barrier is a real problem. I know the management say the hotel is multi-lingual but you have to really search to find an English speaker. Thankfully the reception do so any questions, you can go to them but it’s still a problem in other areas. All the entertainment is in Spanish, all the signs in and out of the hotel are in Spanish, and the hotel is aimed at the Spanish way of life. I.e breakfast doesn’t start until 8am, lunch doesn’t start until 1pm and dinner doesn’t start until 8pm. The pool/slides don’t open until 11am (although you can access the sunbeds before that). There are 2 types of all inclusive at this hotel - Premium and Imperial. The Imperial is the upgraded version but honestly, the only reason this would be worth it is if you are big drinkers as you get a higher quality drink selection. Apart from that, there’s not much difference. Loads and loads of sunbeds in different areas, the ground space for sunbeds is quite big, although you do have to get there by 10am or they’d all be gone. There is a younger kids splash area with small slides, then there’s 8 bigger slides for older kids (my 14 year old niece plus my 11 and 9 year olds are dare devils and loved these). Next to this is the main pool, all of these have sunbeds around them (a lot are in the shade at certain areas of the day). There’s only 1 pool, which has loads of entertainment and loud music (not the place for you if you like a quiet pool). 2 restaurants which are exactly the same food in both (buffet). Food is absolutely lovely. A few fussy eaters in our family and we all found something to eat every day. I can’t understand why people are saying it’s awful. The one thing I will say is that the staff work so hard but there’s not enough of them. They can’t cope with the amount of people. There wasn’t a day where we weren’t waiting for something - cutlery, bowls, ketchup, orange juice, glasses, even the chefs that will cook your eggs or pancakes while you wait can’t keep up. Not their fault at all, the management really need to employ more staff. Shame there’s no outdoor area to eat either, we love eating outside. Hotel is very clean, beds made and towels changed every day (if they’re on the floor). Yes, there were ants but it’s a hot country and we left food out, what did we expect 🤦♀️ The one negative about this hotel is the queues. There are queues for everything, massive queue for check in, queues for the pool bar, queues for the indoor bar, queues for the lifts, it can be frustrating. Overall this is a fab hotel but not one we would come back to because of the language barrier."

I don't think there where any other English people there but the Portuguese German and Spanish people where all very nice and I would definitely holiday here again"

"Stayed for 5 nights with my 15 year old daughter. Booked through love holidays, where we flew into Seville. No transport included and therefore had to take 2 coaches and a ferry boat (4 hours) to get to the hotel (not sure why they didn’t fly us into Porto). However once we were there we were very impressed with the hotel, very luxurious, room was spacious and clean. The whole hotel was very clean. The pool was great and for the majority of the time we were there, there were very few young families and therefore we got a lie in and our pick of sun beds! On our last day, the hotel was swarmed by teenage and pre teen boys (some sort of football tournament), thankfully it was our last day so didn’t bother us but if it had been for the entirety of our trip it would have been a nightmare given my daughter was the only teen girl there! The staff were all very friendly and we made use of google translate to communicate. There isn’t a huge amount in the area but we enjoyed what there was, walks, tapas and the fab little train that gives you a 40 min tour. Overall we’d give the holiday 8/10."
