We went with another family and combined we had three 6 year old girls. We loved the ability to simply walk a few metres to the beach and also walk a few metres to the pool and outside spa. The pool/spa is setup prefect for adults and children to enjoy together. I have stayed there over nearly twenty years and some years back I did stay on a soft mattress but I am pleased to say that this time everything was perfect. The rooms are bog enough, clean and have all we need. The best part I enjoy about about staying at Kaloha is cooking breakfast on the bbqs in the late morning while the kids can run around and enjoy the playground or jumping castle.

We have just had a week at the resort and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were friendly and the two bedroom villa was perfect for our needs. Great kitchen that had everything we needed to cook our own meals . Living area was a good side and the adequate bathroom had a bath, great water temperature. Free wifi worked really well and the place was very clean and warm. We had decking area front and back with outdoor furniture, the villas are all individual and in a nice bush setting, the grounds are all well maintained the workers are always busy, good on them. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the indoor and outdoor hot spas. You had to ring each day to book a time for the indoor spa. We did that each morning for a late afternoon session, it worked well. There is a nice walk around the resort with plenty of Birdlife to see. There are two gyms, two pool complex's either end of this big resort also tennis courts, barbecues, game rooms which the kids would love and pedal carts. I imagine this place would be very busy during holiday time . Walked into town each day,takes about 40 minutes to the Port, good exercise. There is a restaurant on site but can't comment as we never ate there. A great place to stay, we look forward to returning.

The bedding is covered in white sheets and is very clean. 3 minutes walk to the beach, 10 minutes to the supermarket, surrounded by a variety of commercial facilities, eating and playing are very convenient, as well as Chinese restaurants. The Chinese boss is very enthusiastic and details the fun attractions on Phillip Island. Very recommended.

We stayed at the Waves for 3 nights and it was a perfect stay. In an amazing location looking out to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the main *****, could not get a better location. It was so clean and tidy absolutely immaculate it looked clean and even little things like the doonas smelt clean. I would more recommend to smaller families so 3 or less children otherwise it might get a bit snug. Staff was very friendly as well and car parking is provided that is safe and secure. Cooking wise there is a stove top and a pan, not a very good pan more aiming for patrons to go out and support the community. There is free WIFI there too, worked like a treat.

Checked in late for an overnight stay, and it was brilliant. Lovely rooms, well appointed and clean, excellent location, with views of the bay. Friendly check in staff. Dinner and drinks at the hotel was great, good range, excellent venue and fantastic food. Plenty of off street parking for the Harley, but not a fan of gravel carparks. Great place to stay.

A very clean well equipped motel. Whilst fronting the main Phillip Island road the rooms are off a quiet side street. Good beds and pillows. Toaster, kettle, microwave, hairdryer, usual toiletries and tea/ coffee etc. Some other little items included such as bottled water, chocolates, biscuits, makeup removal 'face washer'. Laundry room and ironing facilities in each room. More than adequate wardrobe. Large lawn for children including picnic tables. Many birds 'resident' in motel trees and very entertaining when fed. (Only appropriate bird food!!) For our 3 nights absolutely no noise. :-) Walking distance to Cowes great shops, beach or cruises. RSL one block away. Managers very pleasant. I booked direct online with ease and excellent confirmations etc.. I note the some 3rd party 'agents' were advertising rates different to the motel's rates. Our experiences have been that low advertised rates have a habit of increasing when one comes to book and advertised facilities etc have been been wrong.

The shortcoming is that the apartment front desk is outside the two intersections. You need to drive in the past to pick up the keys and come back. Very nice place to stay not far from the town centre beaches well they just get a past The thing that ruin our holiday were the people on the island as in town we heard bloody tourist they think they own the place .Well it was in the supermarkets and in a couple of shops . The roads on the island are like bush tracks and only a two land road on and off as we found that when the island started to get busy just one slow journey A few good places to see but rating wise i would not go overboard The main street well i found it was hard to get a park ing spot when busy ,i have found places better than Cowes and more friendlier people on my travels .Even though it is hard to yravel at the moment with covid .BUT ONE OF THESE DAYS IF ANY ARE GOING TO TRAVEL FIND A BETTER PLACE THAN Philip ISLAND bUT Hilltop was a good place to stay would do it again but as i say just the people on the island as they are rude to the tourist Even tough i live in Darwin we have got great spots to see ,but the island has but many faults about it and the way things are ran .So before thinking of your next break thing carefully on were you are going to go

Spent the week end here, we walked in to find the air condition is on to heat the room which was very nice of the staff as it was very cold. Room was organized and clean. It has all necessary facilities. The decorations and style is a bit old, linen and bed covers are old styles as per photo attached. paint in toilet needs a refresher, otherwise all good, very reasonable price.

Just wanted to leave a review to assist others. The price considering it is semi shared accomodation with the kitchenette being in a common area and the walls being really thin (could hear everything from people in next suite on our level) was probably the only negative we had. Overall though, I found the place to be quite beautiful. Trees surround the property, the owner Harley was incredibly welcoming and friendly when we met. It was a cosy place to spend a few nights (we were attending a wedding up there). We even requested an iron and an ironing board with an iron was delivered right to our room in no time at all! They even offered to take our luggage up to the room. Balcony was so beautiful. I did enjoy our stay here, and it is so close to restaurants and bars. Perfect location. Thank you Harley and team for providing a wonderful stay for us both. Matt & Holz

I have stayed at Amaroo Park twice now. The park is lovely, cabins are very clean and comfortable. I needed to leave quickly due to an emergency at home and the owners were so kind and empathetic to my situation. I was able to come back without losing any money. Amaroo park is only 10 mins walk to the beach, super close to the shops and gorgeous cafes. I highly recommend Amaroo Park for the location, kind, friendly owners, clean and affordable accommodation. Took a 3 night break at Cowes. Room was great, good little kitchen, great high bench, view of pool from kitchen window. Great little under cover patio to enjoy an afternoon drink. Great spa in the room not quite built for 2 but you can do it, just don't let the roomkey finish up in your bag, bring it home with you, send hubby to mail it back only to present me with the key he expertly mailed to himself, some Mother's do have one. Weather was perfect, 3 sunny days that made the break even better, despite all of the great tourist spots being closed. Big SHOUT OUT to Vietnam Veteran's Museum not only open but with a live band for you to tap your feet too whilst shopping and having a muffin and a Latte, great music guys.

Friendliest managers ever who went out of their way to be helpful. My wife and I (retirees) stayed 4 nights in a two room unit; bedroom and lounge-full kitchen. All spacious and very clean with plenty of room (even for couples with two children). There is a kids' playground, a pool and BBQ; all family friendly. This unit is totally wheelchair friendly; no step at front door. My manual wheelchair moved around the lounge easily and I accessed the toilet and shower easily (shower chair provided, wall bars at toilet and shower). A TV in the bedroom as well as one in the lounge room; that's practical. Talking about practical, they even had the gear to pump up the tyres on my wheelchair. Conveniently located to everything but for those of us in manual wheelchairs -outside of the motel precinct, Cowes is a hilly area.

We stayed in an Ibis cabin, and cannot recommend it in any way. Firstly, the room was dirty. See the photos below, but know I only stopped taking photos as I was bored, not because I ran out of dirty things. Secondly, the ibis cabins are at the entry to the park. We were right next to the boom gate and speed bump, which made for lots of noise. On the plus side, the photos on the NRMA website were accurate, the Aircon worked well, and the bed was fine if you like the foam mattresses. Oh, and the reception staff were friendly, but the office had closed by the time I realised how bad the room was, so didn’t get chance to ask for a move.

I booked direct online with ease and excellent confirmations etc.. I note the some 3rd party 'agents' were advertising rates different to the motel's rates. Our experiences have been that low advertised rates have a habit of increasing when one comes to book and advertised facilities etc have been been wrong.

We have just had a week at the resort and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were friendly and the two bedroom villa was perfect for our needs. Great kitchen that had everything we needed to cook our own meals . Living area was a good side and the adequate bathroom had a bath, great water temperature. Free wifi worked really well and the place was very clean and warm. We had decking area front and back with outdoor furniture, the villas are all individual and in a nice bush setting, the grounds are all well maintained the workers are always busy, good on them. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the indoor and outdoor hot spas. You had to ring each day to book a time for the indoor spa. We did that each morning for a late afternoon session, it worked well. There is a nice walk around the resort with plenty of Birdlife to see. There are two gyms, two pool complex's either end of this big resort also tennis courts, barbecues, game rooms which the kids would love and pedal carts. I imagine this place would be very busy during holiday time . Walked into town each day,takes about 40 minutes to the Port, good exercise. There is a restaurant on site but can't comment as we never ate there. A great place to stay, we look forward to returning.

We went with another family and combined we had three 6 year old girls. We loved the ability to simply walk a few metres to the beach and also walk a few metres to the pool and outside spa. The pool/spa is setup prefect for adults and children to enjoy together. I have stayed there over nearly twenty years and some years back I did stay on a soft mattress but I am pleased to say that this time everything was perfect. The rooms are bog enough, clean and have all we need. The best part I enjoy about about staying at Kaloha is cooking breakfast on the bbqs in the late morning while the kids can run around and enjoy the playground or jumping castle.

Spent the week end here, we walked in to find the air condition is on to heat the room which was very nice of the staff as it was very cold. Room was organized and clean. It has all necessary facilities. The decorations and style is a bit old, linen and bed covers are old styles as per photo attached. paint in toilet needs a refresher, otherwise all good, very reasonable price.

Took a 3 night break at Cowes. Room was great, good little kitchen, great high bench, view of pool from kitchen window. Great little under cover patio to enjoy an afternoon drink. Great spa in the room not quite built for 2 but you can do it, just don't let the roomkey finish up in your bag, bring it home with you, send hubby to mail it back only to present me with the key he expertly mailed to himself, some Mother's do have one. Weather was perfect, 3 sunny days that made the break even better, despite all of the great tourist spots being closed. Big SHOUT OUT to Vietnam Veteran's Museum not only open but with a live band for you to tap your feet too whilst shopping and having a muffin and a Latte, great music guys.
