"The place we visited today was beautiful and very pleasant. 🌳 The hotel's design is surrounded by stilted houses, which is very characteristic of the local ethnic group. The receptionist was very helpful and answered all our questions attentively. The breakfast in the restaurant was also very good, a combination of Chinese and Western dishes. It was a very nice experience and highly recommended!"

"The location of the homestay is good, close to Danzhai Wanda Town, you can see the town square and the big waterwheel from the balcony of the room, follow the navigation to find it, there is an elevator to take luggage, there is free parking, and the night view is very beautiful."

"I was impressed with the hotel's service. From the moment I entered, the front desk staff warmly greeted me, helped me with my luggage, and quickly processed my check-in. During my stay, I encountered a few issues, such as a problem with the room lights. As soon as I mentioned it, maintenance personnel quickly came and resolved the issue with excellent service."

"The hotel lobby is clean and tidy, with plenty of greenery, which is very pleasing to the eye. The surrounding area is great, and it's convenient for shopping. There's a supermarket right next door with everything you could possibly need. This is a fantastic spot for a summer retreat! The weather is very cool and refreshing, and the hotel is excellent! The service is warm and friendly."

"Nestled beside the serene Donghu Lake at Danzhai Wanda Town, this homestay is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the breathtaking scenery—lush flower fields stretching as far as the eye can see, creating a vibrant, dreamy landscape. The tranquil waters of the lake add a peaceful backdrop, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The accommodation itself is a blend of comfort and charm. The rooms are tastefully decorated, offering modern amenities while maintaining a cozy, home - like atmosphere. The hosts are incredibly warm and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway, a solo retreat, or a family vacation, this homestay ticks all the boxes. It truly is a haven for travelers looking to unwind and soak in the beauty of nature. I can’t wait to return!"

"The room was clean, tidy and transparent, and the facilities were smart. I was very satisfied with my stay. Special thanks to Sister Wang at the front desk for sharing the local attractions. I like this hotel very much! The hotel's atmosphere is relaxing, the environment is quiet and elegant, and the hotel houses are fully equipped with smart homes, making our family particularly comfortable. Thank you Xiao Wang for your meticulous and thoughtful service at the front desk. I am very impressed. You can have breakfast in the restaurant and order food in the evening (the beef hot pot in sour soup is delicious). The service and cleaning lady in the restaurant are very polite. There are also gifts that are particularly considerate."

"The hotel is located in the center of the county town, with a local night market street right outside the back entrance. It's very convenient for getting late-night snacks. The breakfast was decent, and the front desk staff patiently explained the tourist attractions to us. There were also brochures in the lobby listing all the attractions in southeastern Guizhou, along with a map. Very good! I recommend everyone to visit Danzhai."

"The most delightful surprise was the room design and the view, definitely worth a visit. It's very quiet, perfect for a short break and relaxation; I highly recommend the panoramic room. During the day, lying in bed and enjoying the view without leaving the house feels like stepping into a Miyazaki animation. There's water nearby, and it's indescribably beautiful in the sunlight. We even saw people playing in the water and fishing, very relaxed and carefree. The room design is lovely; because the owner is Butterfly Mom, many decorations feature butterfly elements, beautiful without being tacky. I took some pictures and included them in the review. The loft is a tatami area, perfect for enjoying a drink and chatting, but there's no air conditioning, and it was too hot now, so we didn't go up much. However, it's beautiful when the sunlight streams in during the day; it would actually be more suitable for a cooler day. Both the owner and the manager were very polite and resolved any issues promptly and efficiently—very nice. Because the guesthouse's canteen was washed away by floods, meals were delivered from the village canteen, which was reasonably priced and tasted decent. It's best to have a car if you're staying here, as it's far from the city center and there aren't many shops nearby. It's best to bring your own cakes, bread, instant noodles, and drinks, as there aren't even any convenience stores nearby (which we hadn't anticipated). Shizhai isn't very developed, and perhaps because it was too hot when we visited, there weren't many people, making getting around and shopping quite inconvenient. In summary, it's suitable for a short one- or two-day getaway, for friends or families; driving is ideal, and you can be quite satisfied just by enjoying the scenery without leaving the hotel."
