"Checking in is, of course, a gimmick. It takes two minutes to get used to it, but then you're talking to a normal person. I'd like to mention Marielle, who was fantastic. She should get a promotion and double her salary, lol. What a fantastic hostess! A beautiful building and the location couldn't be better in Den Bosch, diagonally across from the Sint Jan church and right on the parade, so it's still super peaceful and quiet, and everything is within walking distance. My room was right next to reception, but there are also rooms next door, and breakfast is also served there. It was a bit strange that you have to go outside again. My room was category "cozy" and the smallest, but perfectly fine. The bed was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel, with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was also excellent. Now for some negatives and what could be improved. Again, having two different entrances and buildings can be confusing; checking in like this is really not suitable for older people. The room curtain didn't close properly, and it was very bright in the morning. The bathroom shower handle kept falling down. The rain shower didn't work, and it was dirty and clogged, and a lot of water leaked into the bathroom through the door. One of the bathroom curtains was broken, please remove it. The toilet leaked and unfortunately kept running. These are all minor things, but in a new hotel like this, housekeeping should have noticed them, which was also a problem. They all spoke no Dutch or even English (just like everyone at reception). Not a problem for me, but I think it probably would be for older people and others. And after booking an extra day, I was disturbed three times despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, which really makes me grumpy and incompetent. Check-out time is 11:00 AM, which is strange, especially with check-in at 3:00 PM. It's a shame. Lots of potential, but so many small annoying things that you'll notice, especially after three nights. And the biggest one, I forgot: it's incredibly noisy, especially if your room and bed are next to that hologram reception desk. Greetings, Daan V"
