One small remark was that the room had smokey air, likely from the previous guest(s). Hence I had to air it out but the air quality still didn't fully get optimal. Other than that; a perfect stay!"

"During the Chinese New Year travel season, there were an incredible number of tourists from Henan. For the price, this hotel's environment was really good. The hotel is laid out like a small community with four buildings, all not far from the lobby. Eating options aren't super convenient, but Dengfeng isn't that big anyway. "I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Wulingyuan. It's very close to the east gate entrance and our room was clean and tidy. There is an option to do laundry at the hotel for free, which is very convenient. In the surrounding area you will find plenty of supermarkets and places to eat as well. The owners are super kind and helpful when it comes to booking tickets for the National park or any other question you might have. They are very knowledgeable about the different attractions and can also offer cheaper tickets if you have not purchased them yet."

The sweet owner really makes the experience — going out of her way to make sure her guests are well cared for from food to tea to transportation. She helped us arrange taxis to and from neighboring cities and to the local sites. The Chinese breakfast was very good, local food. And it included hand ground coffee and a visit from the guest house cat."

"Mo Shang Yi Su was the perfect base for our Shaolin Temple trip! The location was super convenient, making it easy to travel back and forth to the temple. After returning, we enjoyed tea and conversation in the tea room, and the herbal foot soak was amazing for relieving fatigue. Our child also got to practice calligraphy in the sunroom. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The laundry room and multi-functional fitness equipment were also a huge convenience. We had a wonderfully comfortable two-day stay here and highly recommend it!"

"For this team-building trip, I chose the Guansongshan Holiday Hotel, which opened in 2024, through Ctrip. Upon arrival yesterday evening, it truly lived up to its reputation; everything looked exactly as pictured online – clean and grand like in the north, elegant and refined like in the south. My colleagues all complimented my choice! From check-in to check-out, every step was handled perfectly. We even received Shaolin monk figurines as gifts for checking in, which made everyone extremely happy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff (013) provided attentive and meticulous service. I highly recommend it to everyone! I believe you will choose this hotel again, just like me, and will definitely stay here again when you return to Dengfeng. Friendly tip: just across the street from the hotel, at one traffic light on the right, is a large food street with all kinds of local delicacies! A friendly reminder: don't overeat, hahaha 😁😁!"

"I stayed at this hotel for two nights and three days. Overall, the hotel was okay, but I felt the front desk service at some points was just so-so. Especially the receptionist on the first day – she was very arrogant. When I asked if parking was free or if I needed to scan a parking coupon, she just said, ”Scan it if you want.” Later, when I asked about the 200 yuan deposit (which is supposed to be waived by the hotel now), she just said, ”Different hotels have different policies.” Anyway, I didn't like it. The receptionists on the second and third days were quite nice. The young lady was very friendly and even gave me a small gift at the end. The cleaning lady was also very nice! I really liked her."

"I brought my parents to Dengfeng for a weekend trip to Mount Song, and after comparing several options, we chose Zhongzhou Huading Hotel. As soon as we entered, we were captivated by the hotel's traditional Chinese architectural style. It's a garden-style hotel that combines a restaurant and accommodation. Upon entering the lobby, a concierge immediately helped us with our luggage and directed us to the front desk for check-in. Ms. Jiao Luyu at the front desk assisted us, providing smiling service throughout. She answered all our questions, helped coordinate our rooms, and processed everything quickly and with a very friendly attitude. After dinner at the restaurant, we returned to our room, which offered views of the Songshan mountain range. Enjoying tea on the balcony was incredibly relaxing. The hotel is also very close to Mount Song and Shaolin Temple, making it convenient for driving. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Dengfeng."
