"The room was clean and the facilities were new. While the guesthouse's exterior was a bit rustic, the interior was quite nice. However, I have a few observations: 1. Although the hotel is located near the parking lot entrance, it's still quite a distance from there to the Shaolin Temple ticket office by car. You'll need to drive or arrange a shuttle service from the guesthouse, which doesn't offer much advantage for self-driving tourists. Moreover, there are almost no commercial amenities around the guesthouse, so you're pretty much limited to eating on-site. 2. The room was advertised as 25 square meters, but I'm not sure what standard they're using for that. It felt significantly smaller than a 25 sqm room at hotels like All Seasons or Atour; it was so small that we couldn't open two suitcases at the same time. 3. The mahjong room next door was quite noisy, which interfered with watching TV in the evenings. 4. Breakfast was very simple with limited options. Overall, for a price of nearly 500 yuan per night on a non-holiday, non-weekend (Friday/Saturday) stay, I found the value for money to be low."

"The hotel is quite large, conveniently located next to a school with plenty of parking. The rooms are on high floors, offering great views! Across the street, there are small restaurants and a Zhao Yiming (a store/restaurant), which is very convenient! If you walk a bit further, there's a night market. Although it's small, it's really fantastic, and I highly recommend guests staying here to check it out! The hotel itself is very clean, and the service is excellent. I stayed for one night, and it was super convenient for visiting the Shaolin Temple!"

"For a family trip, the bedding was exceptionally comfortable, and the room facilities were thoughtfully designed, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and a pleasant surprise, and fruit was provided every day upon return. The owner was warm and patient. On the return trip, we missed our bus because we were climbing Taishi Mountain, and the owner helped us arrange transportation back to Zhengzhou. This was the most comfortable guesthouse we stayed at during our trip to Henan! 👍👍👍"

"The hotel is magnificent, a solid “5 plus”! It is worth noting the beautiful and cozy design of the hotel courtyard and rooms. The bed linen is very white, bath amenities are scented with green tea, the hairdryer is powerful, the towels are fresh. And the owners are very open, friendly and welcoming. A hotel with history - tennis paraphernalia everywhere. We arrived in May. Roses were blooming throughout the area. The only difficulty for us was turning into the right alley from the main road, where the taxi driver dropped us off. I would recommend that the hotel add an English name to the inscription in Chinese. We walked 50 meters along the alley and resorted to the help of passersby by showing photos of the armor"

"This guesthouse is just a few minutes' walk from the scenic area, and the owner even gave us a free ride there – so thoughtful! It's rare to find a place with an elevator, which made it so easy with my elders. The room was clean and tidy, and the smart toilet was incredibly comfortable. The best surprise was that a coke only cost 3 yuan! You can really tell the owner puts a lot of effort into running this place; all the details are perfectly handled. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!"

"The owner is really welcoming. Luckily, our room got upgraded! There's a tall, handsome guy who makes delicious breakfast. The rooftop is super cool in the evening, perfect for enjoying the view. It's just a 10-minute walk to Songyang Academy, and there are shared electric bikes right outside for an even quicker ride. You can do laundry after hiking and ordering takeout is convenient too. Highly recommend!"

"This stay truly exceeded all expectations! First off, the owner is incredibly genuine and attentive. As we drove up, he spotted our car from afar, knew we were guests, and was already outside waiting to direct our parking. He then gave us such a warm welcome and chatted with us. We stayed for two nights, and the food recommendations he gave were genuinely authentic and delicious (and I'm a picky eater!). He was so honest that he even added a disclaimer, saying he didn't want to sound like a promoter—taste is subjective, but he could personally vouch for the absolute freshness of the ingredients. As for the guesthouse itself, my daughter declared it the best place we stayed at during our entire National Day holiday trip (we even stayed at a star-rated hotel in Zhengzhou on the way back, and she still insisted this one was the best). The property has an elevator, the front desk girl was lovely, food delivery reaches directly here, and the breakfast is made with so much care. My daughter usually only has a bottle of milk for breakfast, but here she had an amazing appetite—she absolutely loved their corn porridge and deep-fried dough sticks (youtiao); it was fantastic. Also, we did laundry during our two-night stay. When the weather changed, the owner thoughtfully went up to the rooftop terrace to bring our drying rack inside. It was such a heartwarming gesture. No exaggeration here—we were simply moved by how much heart they put into running this place. It really felt like a home away from home. Next time we visit Mount Song, this guesthouse will definitely be our top choice!"
