"It should be another hotel this time in Domburg. We had booked the so-called family room for a week for the second with a big dog. It is a single family house. There is no reception accordingly. When we arrived, no one was on the ground. After the phone we were told that the room was open and the key was inside. If we hadn't felt so much recovery we would certainly not have entered the first place. It is absolutely absurd to call this accommodation as an hotel! You have a ceiling height of 2.10 m here on the ground floor. The very steep stairs up to the bedrooms are difficult to climb, absolutely dangerous for children and dogs. In the upper floor you can hardly stand up. The safe is located in the upper floor in a seating room next to the hot water tank. The condition of the rooms is rather than to be described down. Repair works are done here in a need. The electric cable would be called a "frickelei". In the bathroom you can hardly turn around. The photographer responsible for the photos on the Internet is a master of his field. The cool box was fungal (Sagrotan thanks). The mattresses were not invited, fortunately we had large dog covers. The bed linen was okay. To bring breakfast to the room, you forgot on the first morning. We were then invited to breakfast in the associated pancake house, that was okay. The kitchen line was nevertheless little invited to eat here in the room. The daily cleaning was “less professional”. To require € 300 per day for this is just a trio! The weather was super, but we left two days earlier."

"We had been looking forward to a relaxed weekend in Royal Domburg, but unfortunately we were disappointed in several points. I forgive three stars, as there was also a positive aspect – the location is excellent – but overall our stay was rather unpleasant. The arrival was uncomplicated, but we were received quite cold at the check-in. No personal greeting, no reference to special offers or facilities – It felt rather like a compulsory program. The room itself was in order at first sight, but at the closer point there was some of the renovation bust: loose armory in the bathroom, weakened tape, flax gardens. The cleanliness was limited – especially in the bathroom I would have expected more care. What really disturbed us was the luminousness of the rooms. We could hear both the TV and conversations from the next room clearly, which affected the night rest massively. A few plus points: The nearby beach is fantastic, the hotel is beautifully quiet at the edge of Domburg. Also the bike rental possibility directly on site was practical. In general, a very mixed impression. I expected much more for a hotel called "Royal" and the prices called. We'll probably choose an alternative next time in the surrounding area."

"A fabulous hotel.in Domburg. Only a short walk to the beach, beautifully decorated with the most comfiest of beds ever! Our host was super friendly and welcoming. The buffet was one of the best I have had, a large selection for all tastes, loved especially by the kids. We wil definitely be back!"
