"Muong Thanh Hotel holds a special place in my heart. They are well-organized and provide excellent service. The building is old and the facilities are a bit worn, but the service is excellent. The neighborhood is quiet, and the proximity to the beach always gives a refreshing feeling. I'm lucky to have found a hotel like this while living in Vietnam. I'm so grateful to all the hotel staff. Five stars are not enough. They are a four-star hotel, but they provide service that rivals that of a five-star hotel. I'm grateful to everyone."

"We stayed at both the Gold Coast and Meliá. Location: Tie. Meliá has a better location for seeing the City and proximity to restaurants. GC has a huge pool and is on the beach. Restaurant: Meliá Service: Meliá Breakfast: Tie Pool: GC The problem with the GC was the room was open when we arrived. Heavy smell of cleaner. There were also limited services because there are barely any quests. Couldn’t find any thing to eat mid afternoon. Pool bar closed. Wasn’t impressed with the restaurant. Took a taxi downtown after first day. Beach experience, GC wins. City experience Meliá."

The hotel is far from the restaurant district. The hotel's Wi-Fi was reliable, and the room cleaning was excellent. The bed and towels were clean and nice. One room had a surprisingly large amount of space, which made it feel spacious. There's a large supermarket nearby, which is convenient."

"This hotel is right on the beach, so I'd say the location is pretty good. The room was spacious and very comfortable. A little while after checking in, we were brought some small Swiss rolls, which was a nice touch. The bathroom has a bathtub, but it took over 30 minutes to fill up. The shower water pressure is weak, but personally, I found it acceptable. There's also a shower in the jacuzzi, but the water pressure was so bad it was practically unusable, which was quite funny. The breakfast buffet offered 6 kinds of fresh vegetables, 2 rice dishes, soup, and 5 main courses. I think it would be even better if they could add a bit more variety. The beach directly in front of the hotel is mostly a no-swimming zone, so there weren't many people walking around."

"Terrible hotel in a terrible location. The hotel is empty (so empty they did not provide the buffet breakfast that was included but offered a la carte due to lack of guests). That said the genius who checked us in put us directly on top of a party so despite needing to get up early to leave we will need to wait for the party to end at midnight to go to sleep. In addition it’s like being on a deserted island. There is nothing around for miles so make sure you have a car or you will pay inflated prices in their one restaurant"
