"Very good! Hardware: very new and clean. Each room has a balcony and fireplace, especially the bathroom is large and fully equipped. Service: warm and thoughtful. You don't have to worry about parking and luggage. Every staff will greet you warmly and provide free drinking water and kettles. You need to call the service center. Location: excellent. The hotel has its own private beach, Lake Tahoe is right outside the door, and the South Tahoe business district is just outside the hotel. Dining: delicious. I had 2 meals at Bistro, both good. In short, although the price is not low, it is worth the money and is the first choice when going to Tahoe."

"Zephyr Cove Resort needs to train its employees on basics, including this particular Barney Fife. Goes from 0 to 10 unprovoked. Thinks he's doing his job. You saw the show, you get the picture. His colleagues apologized for his behavior. Just be nice dude. Think Mayberry. This guy might have PTSD, but it's not my problem. I'm on vacation. It's the hotel's fault for putting people in the wrong jobs, and not training them for busy weekends."

"The drive here is horrendous. Kingsbury Grade slows to 20mph twice coming 3 miles up. Then you turn on Tramway Drive another curvy road. Check in is at the top of the hill. I was given a 3rd floor unit up 4 flights of stairs with 2 suitcases & groceries. The unit was very nice with a washer/dryer. I couldn’t get here on Sat. due to a snow storm. I missed 2 days of my week long stay. I will never stay here again due to the drive."

"Cleanliness was perfect everything was spotless and great customer service we went to the pool and we didn’t have enough towels and my husband went to one of the employees she was really good and focused on work her English wasn’t every good but she was really sweet she gave us towels and it’s close to Safeway so we did get some stuff from there it’s also close to a beach."
