"Incredible value for money, with large well presented ‘apartments’ rather than rooms that felt like a home away from home and friendly service. Breakfast was also good value for money with a good selection catering for many tastes-wish I’d had room to the self made waffles! Only negative was lack of bikes to use as advertised-which was the reason I’d chosen the hotel -however, this is a minor in a lovely hotel."

"The Lonac Hotel is an excellent hotel in the south of Duisburg. Centrally you can hardly live. The tram stop with direct connection to the Duisburg city centre or to the Düsseldorf Fair is only a two-minute walk away. The hotel is located right behind the hotel, with an excellent Balkan restaurant and a large supermarket with cafe, bakery and other shopping facilities. These are also convenient to reach in less than five minutes walk. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and have air conditioning. There is also a rich and delicious breakfast with something for every taste. The entire staff and the hotel manager are extraordinarily friendly, hearty and attentive. You feel welcome from the first moment and best relieved. Whenever we are in Duisburg, we are very happy to come back to this hotel. For us it is the first choice every time and we can continue to recommend the Hotel Lonac fully and fully. Thank you to the entire team for the always pleasant stay! "

"The room was beautifully and stylishly furnished, everything was clean, and the staff were friendly. The location is very central and within easy walking distance, but it's on a busy street, so anyone needing absolute peace and quiet to sleep should bring earplugs. Parking is available right next to the hotel and can be booked for €7 per day at check-in."

"Spent five nights here during Medica. An excellent hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our bedroom with adjoining sitting area was spacious and very comfortable, as was the bathroom. Good quality amenities. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was varied and generous. Gluten free bread was provided upon request. Parking available. View from the room to the Rhein River was lovely. Nice balcony with the room. Location is not central to Duisburg and therefore quiet. Can walk along the path by the river. Surrounding area is mainly residential and some businesses. Nearest supermarket is a 10 minute walk away. Uber service easily accessible. Trip into Dusseldorf about 40 minutes by car, depending on traffic. Prices reasonable. An enjoyable stay."
