The Rose Gaming Resort
9.3 (87 reviews)

The Rose Gaming Resort ★★★★

📍 17680 Colonial Street, Dumfries

"The hotel was great! Service was great! However the amenities missed the mark. The coffee machine didn’t work, the sink pipes were leaking, the iron leaked, and the TV kept shutting on and off, made it hard to want to watch anything. Overall the experience was a good one."

"The surrounding area does not feel very safe. There are some dangerous people nearby. When I went out to buy things, I saw someone **. The vending machines in the hotel are very expensive. The front desk has a good attitude and check-in is fast."

Motel 6 Dumfries, VA ★★
"For what it is being a motel 6.. This hotel was quite nice and actually clean, drama free, and in a good location for the city. It's also pretty quiet too. The employees I encountered were all very pleasant. Seeinf that we booked on the weekend too, there wasn't noise or loud music going on.just generally a peaceful environment. The office was also quite nice with plenty of pamplets of things to do in the area. Also to mention that there is a lot of food places nearby. From fast food to restaurants. Also the new casino is close by If you wanted to give that a visit. They have a fitness area too. The king toom was very spacious to my surprise. It had two desks with one of them even having a rolling computer chair."
