"This hotel is very close to Dunhua Station, within walking distance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made me feel welcome. The room was spacious and smart, with a lovely view of the Great Buddha outside the window. The only downsides were the lingering new hotel smell and the noise from the elevator in room 08, which was noticeable at night but not during the day. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. It seemed to be outsourced, and by 8:30 AM, there was hardly anything left. The owner was unwilling to replenish the food and was quite rude, telling guests to just eat whatever was available."

"I've always trusted Ctrip, but this time the hotel I booked through Ctrip was significantly more expensive than booking on-site or through a group-buying website. I don't understand why Ctrip is doing this. When I asked the front desk, they wouldn't tell me, saying it was the lowest price they could offer. This price on a group-buying website includes two breakfasts, but Ctrip charges 15 yuan per person for breakfast. When I asked the staff about nearby breakfast options, they wouldn't tell me, saying the hotel has breakfast. Turns out, the breakfast options near the hotel are very affordable. The room layout is unreasonable; you have to get into the bed from below on one side, and the side is too narrow. What's the point of the wide side? The hotel doesn't have a parking lot; parking is a matter of luck."

"The room was extremely small. Even after upgrading, it was still as small. I had no choice but to ask for a quilt, but it was wet. It was ridiculous. The whole corridor had a disgusting smell. I wonder if there was something wrong with the drainage or something. There was a lot of noise outside at night!"

"The room was cozy. The hotel smelled pleasant, with no hint of tobacco smoke. There were plenty of outlets that accepted European plugs. The staff was friendly, and the room was cleaned daily. It was close to a park. A two-minute walk away was an excellent Korean restaurant that served a red yam drink. A separate shower stall (not shared with the restroom) was a plus for us. The IPTV was a bit slow, but we didn't watch it much."
