"Reception staff helpful, moved us into room with bath as requested. Room was large, with coffee machine, but bit dusty, would have preferred a regular TV not Internet one, and woken by noise outside the room in the morning. Bed was hard, and two singles joined together is not that comfy. Neither of us slept well unfortunately. Free parking was good. Would have liked to try the pool and hot tub and gym but only stayed one night and ran out of time. Handy for travel to Gatwick Airport. Value for money."

"Lovely room and bathroom with a nice big bath. The only downside was how uncomfortable the mattress was. And definitely needs to be decorated. It could be amazing with the right colours! Especially get rid of that yellow in the hall 🫣. But overall, lovely stay. Would stay again. Service from downstairs was great too. "

"The hotel is ideally located with plenty of shops and take aways around it. There's no restaurant in the hotel, but there's a wetherspoons across the road which did a good cheap breakfast. There's a pay and display carpark just across the road which was £8.50 for over 4 hours and it's free between 8pm to 8am. We were able to chose our rooms when booking and chose two at the end of a corridor away from the landing entrance at the back of the hotel. These rooms were nice and quiet. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Only 2 little niggles, one the room temp is set far too hot and despite turning it down as low as it would go, it kept turning its self back on to 21. Two the shower base is a rectangle, the shower curtain is round and doesn't reach the side of the base, so all the water runs out onto the floor. Staff were helpful and friendly."

"We were greeted by lovely people who seem to run the bar next door also , room was clean and tidy and bed was comfy ,we were only on a flying visit taking a tour of Ashdown forest ,I would stay here again next time I would probably make sure the room had a bath lot of walking needed a good soak but very local to the town and restaurants ,shops etc"
