HOTEL R9 The Yard Ebino
"Since my room was close to Route 1, I was bothered by the loud noise of passing vehicles, but if I'd been a little further away, it wouldn't have been a problem. lol Other than that, I had no issues and it was very comfortable. This will definitely be my first choice for future trips to Kyushu!"
Jyubei No Yado
"The rice was delicious and the room was large and the best"
Gyokusenkan
"Old, but very nice and cozy place. Cool cave onsen. The room was heated for me in advance, so it was warm right away"
Kakuto Onsen
"Ebino City is located in a rural area, so the guesthouse facilities are not as well-equipped as those in the city; the rooms do not have private bathrooms. The onsen (hot spring) facilities are not as good as those in hotels. However, it's perfectly comfortable for a good night's sleep. What was surprising was that they arranged a private room for us to have breakfast; it was comfortable, had a great dining atmosphere, and offered beautiful natural views from the window, with a full view of cherry blossom trees (in December, only the branches of the cherry blossoms could be seen). We had to spend a night in Ebino City to visit Kirishima National Park. Hotels are very limited, but the Kakuto onsen guesthouse still had its own unique charm."
Shiratori Onsen Ueyu
"The hot spring was really good. It seemed to have the best effect among the Japanese hot springs I've been to. The room felt like it was in the 80's and was a bit uncomfortable, but the food, friendliness of the staff, and the hot spring were impressive, and the hell right above the hot spring was also worth a visit."
