"The hotel is far from the JR station, making it suitable only for self-driving trips. The dinner menu was varied and delicious, but the breakfast was a set menu and average. If you have the choice, book a first-floor room with a private bath."

"The hotel is clean and tidy, with complete facilities and a variety of hot spring options, especially the cave hot spring, which is unique and very comfortable to soak in, making for a great experience. The hotel staff are also warm and professional, which deserves high praise."

📍 152 Nishinagaeura, Ebino

"Very good ryokan, with its own onsen. Good food too, you'll be served carp sashimi from the hotel's fish farm. A very nice stopover in a very quiet location. A very warm and friendly welcome."

Shiratori Onsen Ueyu

📍 1470 Suenaga, Ebino

"The hot spring was really good. It seemed to have the best effect among the Japanese hot springs I've been to. The room felt like it was in the 80's and was a bit uncomfortable, but the food, friendliness of the staff, and the hot spring were impressive, and the hell right above the hot spring was also worth a visit."

HOTEL R9 The Yard Ebino ★★★
"The location is convenient. There's a huge Cosmos drugstore (including a supermarket) directly opposite; it doesn't have ready-made food, but it has a lot of frozen food, and only cash is accepted. A 7-Eleven is a 3-minute walk to the left, and a Lawson is a 5-minute walk to the right. There's also a supermarket across the street (card payment accepted), but it doesn't have ready-made food either; the prices are quite cheap. The accommodation counter offers free coffee, tea, bathrobes, toothpaste, and other amenities. Each person also receives a daily voucher for a frozen bento box (rice or noodles), which can be redeemed at any time. There are microwaves in the rooms. Next to the counter is a laundry room with four washer-dryer combos; a standard wash and dry cycle takes about 2 hours and costs ¥700."

"I am a resident of the prefecture. We stay here on average once a year. The other day, even though it was December, it was the hottest summer day in the country, and the next day it completely changed and I stayed on a cold winter day. Hot springs on cold days are the best, and since the room has an open-air bath, you can easily jump into the bath within 5-6 steps. I don't like soaking in thick water for a long time, but I ended up soaking for quite a while, probably because it was cold. I soaked it about 5 times from in to out. The number of meals in the dinner plan is too large for elderly people, so as always, order from the menu and enjoy the right amount of your favorite foods, fresh fish, and other delicious individual dishes. Since I had ordered, there was no delay in the food and I was very satisfied. I didn't really meet other customers, so I had a quiet time. As usual, I was very satisfied with the hot springs and food. We plan to use it next time when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom."

"Old, but very nice and cozy place. Cool cave onsen. The room was heated for me in advance, so it was warm right away"

"The inn itself is old, but there are subtle touches throughout, making for a comfortable stay. The main dish was carp, but it didn't have a muddy smell at all, and the fish, carp soup, and salt-grilled trout were also very delicious. Breakfast was also satisfying. The landlady and other staff were always smiling and polite. This is one of the inns I'd like to visit again."

"The natural volcanic steam sauna experience was very special. The accommodation also had a great view. However, there was no bathroom in the room, so I had to use the shared bathroom in the hallway, which was a bit inconvenient. Still, I was satisfied with the low price."
