"So my partner booked this as a surprise for my birthday. Staying here has always been on my bucket list so I was obviously really excited to stay. The experience from start to finish was lovely. Our room was ready half an hour early so we were shown the room straight away. We stayed in Geranium and it was beautiful. Really tastefully done. The room was also an adapted room, so if you've disabilities, please dont hesitate to book. The staff from start to finish were lovely, and made you feel very welcome. Being able to walk the grounds of an evening when the castle is closed to the public absolutely tops it. It definitely topped it for me because just before sunset, my partner proposed as we looked over the castle. It was magical. Breakfast was lovely. There's absolutely nothing you could want for that wasn't provided. I just want to thank every single member of staff at Hever for making our night away so perfect. Thank you"
