"Staff are amazing there and so helpful .The room and balcony were lovely and you couldn't fault that. The only problem for us was that we thought we were booking their sister hotel of the similar name at the seaside but we got round that by being based at the beach in the day and even had breakfast there as the two hotels were very flexible. We were given blankets to use instead of towels which was a bit awkward as they were huge and didn't really do the job of drying . Nevertheless We had a great stay there"

"Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed with Vista Sol. The pool smells bad, the staff are unfriendly, and the food is terrible. The buffet doesn't have enough food for all guests, and what's there tastes bad. It's definitely not worth the money."

"Hotel with great potential, but in need of significant renovations and improvements. The cleaning standards are below expectations, with the bathroom being unsatisfactory (worse than a public bathroom), including leaks coming from the superior room. The room, although spacious and with a comfortable bed, needs attention in terms of hygiene, lighting and air conditioning. Breakfast, served in an attached restaurant, offers only one drink and one dish, and requires an additional charge for more complete options. The service at the reception needs to be improved, as the receptionists are completely apathetic. The food service, both lunch and dinner, is of good quality, with the waitress who works at the pool standing out for her friendliness."

"Avoid this place if possible. We stayed in room 3 from December 24th to 28th, 2025. The cost was $70 per night, including breakfast. The room was incredibly small, barely able to open our suitcases. The air conditioning was very old and dirty (I wonder what the filter was like), pointing toward the bed. You have to leave it on at night, which is quite annoying. The mini fridge was very old, rusty, with a seal that came off when you opened it—it was also very dirty. The wall light on the left side of the bed came off and fell in your face. The TV didn't work (the owner said Claro was having some issues). Breakfast was okay the first day, but then gradually they ran out of various juices and other items, so you were forced to eat whatever was available without any choice."

"1. This is an old hotel with a particularly good beach location. I once walked six kilometers along the beach and found that the beach of this hotel can be said to be the best among the resort hotels in a string along the coast of Punta Cana. 2. How about the service? It's basically OK. The room cleaning staff and restaurant service staff are very good, but the front desk staff is just so-so. It takes at least 20 minutes to check in. They are slow and indifferent to guests. 3. If you ask the bellhop at the door to call a taxi for you, you must confirm the price repeatedly to prevent the bellhop and the taxi driver from cheating you. Of course, the money cheated will not be much, maybe only three or five US dollars, but when you know that you have been cheated, although the money is not much, it is still very unpleasant to be treated like a **. 4. On the first day of check-in, there was a strong musty smell in the room. After calling the hotel customer service, they quickly changed the full set of pillows, quilts, etc., and sprayed a lot of freshener, so the musty smell was suppressed.
