B&B Hotel Girona 2
"Excellent staff very clean and great breakfast Highly recommended"
DoubleTree by Hilton Girona
"Very good service clean hotel but not in old town need to go by car."
Can Cocollona
"A cosy hostel where you can easily strike up a conversation on the large kitchen table. The location is convenient: close to the train station, but a little further from the city centre. Nice, friendly atmosphere, partly due to the presence of a dog/cat. The decor is fairly basic. Don't expect a very modern hostel."
Residencia Universitaria Resa Campus de Montilivi
"Great location with easy access by car and ample parking. The room, which had a kitchenette, unfortunately had a lingering odor—likely from previous guests' cooking—but otherwise it seemed clean and spacious. Shower pressure was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again. "
Hotel Gran Ultonia
"Hotel as described. Everything correct."
B&B Hotel Girona 3
"Spacious room. Clean. Convenient location, right next to a shopping mall. Got everything around."
Best Western Premier CMC Girona
"It veri best"
Bed in Girona
"I had to stay here for several nights due to certain circumstances. Now I know what a low-quality hostel looks like. One night is okay, but no more! 1. Some rooms don’t have a space heater, so in winter you’ll freeze. The temperature is the same as outside. 2. The lockers are narrow and break easily. 3. Breakfast is skimpy. 4. Overall, the hostel feels abandoned and uncomfortable. 5. They always close the kitchen!!! So be ready you can't use it whenever you want and your groceries in the fridge. 6. There’s no hot water in the shower!!! But you probably won’t want to take a shower anyway, because it’s cold inside! 7. Speaking of roommates…Just carry your things with you and be ready to wake up at night if someone decides to turn on the light."
Bypillow the Bloom
"A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Girona! I recently stayed at ByPillow The Bloom in Girona, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, making check-in seamless and stress-free. The hotel itself is beautifully designed—modern, stylish, and impeccably clean. My room was spacious, with a super comfortable bed and high-quality linens that made for a perfect night’s sleep. The decor was minimalist yet cozy, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The bathroom was spotless, with great water pressure in the shower and plenty of amenities. One of the best parts of this hotel is its location—right in the heart of Girona! It’s within walking distance of all the main attractions, including the historic Old Town, the Cathedral, and the picturesque bridges over the Onyar River. There are also fantastic cafés, restaurants, and shops just around the corner. Despite being so central, the hotel was quiet and peaceful, allowing for a restful stay. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and I appreciated the thoughtful details like complimentary coffee and tea in the common area. If you’re looking for a charming, modern, and well-located hotel in Girona, ByPillow The Bloom is the perfect choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful city, and I can’t wait to return!"

Hotel Nord 1901
"Tucked quietly between Girona’s medieval lanes and the river, Hotel Nord 1901 feels like a private retreat in the middle of the city. The location is perfect — everything is a short stroll away — yet the hotel itself is calm and unhurried. Our room was generous in size, thoughtfully designed, and wonderfully comfortable after long days exploring the old town. The garden courtyard and pool are a rare luxury in such a central spot, offering a peaceful pause from sightseeing. Service throughout was warm, sincere, and effortlessly professional. A beautifully run boutique hotel that balances character, comfort, and location with ease."
Ciutat de Girona
"Bathroom room needs to be renovated."
Carlemany Girona
"It's about 20 minutes away from the old town, but if you're planning a short stay, it's close to the TGV station, which is perfect. The pure white bathroom is impressive."
Hotel Boutique Can Bassa
"We had a wonderful stay in can bassa. The room and the entire hotel are very confortable, really well maintained and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The owners of the hotel treated us splendidly. "
Hotel Palau Fugit
Masia Can Pou
"The Emporda is a beautiful area of Catalunya and the Masia is in one of its stunning locations. Peace and tranquillity yet only 20 minutes from Girona. Eirene and Donatello are the most charming of hosts. Donatello is the chef and what a feast he creates for the evening meal. The beautiful old house, lovely rooms with stunning views and delightful gardens with swimming pool. It doesn’t get much better than this. Cant wait to return."
Hotel Museu Llegendes de Girona
"The service from one-to-out was excellent, very personal and attentive."
Hotel Costabella
"Last time the guy at the reception took me a long time to give me the keys"
Ibis Budget Girona Costa Brava
"Good customer service"
Apartaments Plaça Del VI
"It's a well equipped apartment in a central location but spoilt by horrible contract and rules. The apartment had two bedrooms, an open plan sitting and dining area with a partly screened kitchen area. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed except for a dish cloth. The washing machine and tumble dryer were located behind a wall panel in one of the bedrooms. We had to ask the maintenance team to show us where they were. The bathroom had a large two person sink meaning the toilet was in the shower which was a bit strange. The bed we slept in was huge, the bedding very clean and the bed was comfortable. The free wifi was good and the air conditioning took a while to cool the apartment but was very effective once it got going. A card key opened the front (street) door and apartment door and we felt secure. Although we were above a square with cafes and bars, we weren't disturbed by the noise. There was some noise from the neighbours but this was OK. The cleaning team make a lot of noise on the stairwell when they are working. We had to check in at a hotel about 10 minutes walk away. This was OK for us but might be an issue if you are arriving late or with a lot of luggage. We were asked to sign a 7 page contract which had a lot of rules and threats of charges. We read this carefully. We had to pay an extra 210 euros as a deposit and that we would be charged 60 euros if the apartment wasn't clean and 30 euros if we didn't recycle our rubbish properly. After our stay, we queried these rules and charges and they clarified these but the contract wasn't clear and the hotel staff couldn't clarify at the time of checking in. We couldn't check in until 4pm which we thought was too late given we had to vacate the apartment at 11am. As a result of the rules and threats of charges, we took photos of damage and cleaning issues when we arrived in case the owners tried to charge us for damages and extra cleaning. There were some cleaning issues in the apartment, many of the walls and doors were scuffed and marked, the chair, sofa and cushions were stained as was the carpet. There were burn marks in the flooring and greasy hand prints on the doors and walls. The cistern for the toilet did not stop properly so water ran all the time. The extractor fan in the bathroom was very dirty and we think it was so clogged with dirt that it wouldn't work. It gave a loud noise when you switched it on so we didn't use it. The rule about recycling rubbish properly was because you had to take your rubbish out and deposit it in a series of automatic bins on the street. There is a card in the apartment you have to use to open the bins to put your waste in. The TV in the lounge had very few channels working. We noted many of the local Spanish channels didn't work. The battery cover on the remote control was missing. We paid 150 euros a night which we think is a little expensive for what we got, especially given the maintenance and cleani"
