B&B Hotel Girona 2 ★★
"Location wanst good, nothing much nearby."
Hotel Nord 1901 ★★★★
"Tucked quietly between Girona’s medieval lanes and the river, Hotel Nord 1901 feels like a private retreat in the middle of the city. The location is perfect — everything is a short stroll away — yet the hotel itself is calm and unhurried. Our room was generous in size, thoughtfully designed, and wonderfully comfortable after long days exploring the old town. The garden courtyard and pool are a rare luxury in such a central spot, offering a peaceful pause from sightseeing. Service throughout was warm, sincere, and effortlessly professional. A beautifully run boutique hotel that balances character, comfort, and location with ease."
B&B Hotel Girona 3 ★★★
"The front desk staff greeted us with such a bright smile. Hotel prices were quite high due to the peak season in Spain, but since we were outside Barcelona (in Girona), the price was reasonable. We added breakfast during check-in, and the breakfast menu was quite simple. I liked that the orange juice was freshly squeezed, and there was bread, eggs, ham, and a few other items. Even though it was simple, there was no issue with cleanliness or overcrowding in the dining area, so I was quite satisfied. The room was a bit small for three people, but we managed without much trouble. The water pressure in the bathroom was good, and having a bathtub was a plus. The bed sheets were clean, and the room condition was adequate. There's a very large shopping mall right next to the main entrance, so there were no difficulties with dining or shopping, and parking was available, which was convenient for our rental car. This is a hotel I'd like to visit again. The friendly smiles of the staff are better than a 5-star hotel."
Hotel Bestprice Girona ★
"Very helpful receptionist, close to tasteful restaurants and other amenities."
Can Cocollona ★★
"I stayed at Can Cocollona for three days during my trip to Girona, and I really enjoyed my stay there 🦋 The hostel is very close to the train and bus station, which was perfect for me because I arrived by bus. It was easy to find and very convenient. At the same time, the area is quiet and nice, so I could relax after a long day of walking around the city. The price was affordable and totally worth it. The breakfasts were tasty and quite big — there were sandwiches, croissants, eggs, cereal, milk, tea and coffee. It was a great way to start the morning before going out to explore Girona. I also liked that my room had a balcony - it was a small detail, but it made the stay even better. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for me. There is also a shared kitchen where you can cook your own food, which is very convenient if you don’t want to eat out all the time. The best part for me was the friendly atmosphere. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the other guests were open and nice. I felt comfortable and welcome there!"
Hotel Boutique Can Bassa ★★★★
"Can Bassa is by far one of the most beautiful, relaxing, and magical places we’ve ever stayed as a family (and we travel often). Pedro and his family who have run the property for 20+ years helped us as a family with young kids feel extremely comfortable and just as welcome as every other guest on the property (which can be hard to find!). There is peace and beauty to be found at Can Bassa no matter the type of traveler you are! We stayed 6 nights and hope to visit again. I highly recommend."
Ibis Girona Costa Brava ★★★
"Perfect location and price for a weekend getaway to Girona"

Hotel Costabella
"Very good accommodation, everything clean, good treatment and very nice, they also gave us new rooms."
Hotel Palau Fugit
Masia Can Pou
"The Emporda is a beautiful area of Catalunya and the Masia is in one of its stunning locations. Peace and tranquillity yet only 20 minutes from Girona. Eirene and Donatello are the most charming of hosts. Donatello is the chef and what a feast he creates for the evening meal. The beautiful old house, lovely rooms with stunning views and delightful gardens with swimming pool. It doesn’t get much better than this. Cant wait to return."
Mas Carreras 1846 Historic Luxury House
Ibis Budget Girona Costa Brava
"For the price, it was a really "budget" hotel. No hairdryer, small towels, paper cups in the bathroom, no closet in the room... Plus, our Trip reservation (which was confirmed, and finally, it was) didn't appear on paper. They told us they were sorry, but they wouldn't give us a room. Not cheap for what they were offering, and it's not even very central."
Hotel Museu Llegendes de Girona
"The service from one-to-out was excellent, very personal and attentive."
El Porxo B&B
"We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights in a well designed room at this gorgeous property. The best part was the incredibly kind and helpful host, Xavi, who offered guidance for many aspects of our touring in the area. Though it was too cool for us to use the pool, we enjoyed the beauty of their gardens. The common areas are lovely, where we enjoyed wine and snacks graciously served by Xavi, and the breakfast at his dining room table was outstanding. Girona is a great destination and a wonderful base for touring the beautiful countryside."

Apartaments Plaça Del VI
"It's a well equipped apartment in a central location but spoilt by horrible contract and rules. The apartment had two bedrooms, an open plan sitting and dining area with a partly screened kitchen area. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed except for a dish cloth. The washing machine and tumble dryer were located behind a wall panel in one of the bedrooms. We had to ask the maintenance team to show us where they were. The bathroom had a large two person sink meaning the toilet was in the shower which was a bit strange. The bed we slept in was huge, the bedding very clean and the bed was comfortable. The free wifi was good and the air conditioning took a while to cool the apartment but was very effective once it got going. A card key opened the front (street) door and apartment door and we felt secure. Although we were above a square with cafes and bars, we weren't disturbed by the noise. There was some noise from the neighbours but this was OK. The cleaning team make a lot of noise on the stairwell when they are working. We had to check in at a hotel about 10 minutes walk away. This was OK for us but might be an issue if you are arriving late or with a lot of luggage. We were asked to sign a 7 page contract which had a lot of rules and threats of charges. We read this carefully. We had to pay an extra 210 euros as a deposit and that we would be charged 60 euros if the apartment wasn't clean and 30 euros if we didn't recycle our rubbish properly. After our stay, we queried these rules and charges and they clarified these but the contract wasn't clear and the hotel staff couldn't clarify at the time of checking in. We couldn't check in until 4pm which we thought was too late given we had to vacate the apartment at 11am. As a result of the rules and threats of charges, we took photos of damage and cleaning issues when we arrived in case the owners tried to charge us for damages and extra cleaning. There were some cleaning issues in the apartment, many of the walls and doors were scuffed and marked, the chair, sofa and cushions were stained as was the carpet. There were burn marks in the flooring and greasy hand prints on the doors and walls. The cistern for the toilet did not stop properly so water ran all the time. The extractor fan in the bathroom was very dirty and we think it was so clogged with dirt that it wouldn't work. It gave a loud noise when you switched it on so we didn't use it. The rule about recycling rubbish properly was because you had to take your rubbish out and deposit it in a series of automatic bins on the street. There is a card in the apartment you have to use to open the bins to put your waste in. The TV in the lounge had very few channels working. We noted many of the local Spanish channels didn't work. The battery cover on the remote control was missing. We paid 150 euros a night which we think is a little expensive for what we got, especially given the maintenance and cleani"
La Comuna by Bon Dia Residences
"Great stay at a charming and historical building. Very conveniently to restaurants and bike rides. And it has a washing machine. Highly recommend and the staff was very accommodating. The food and coffee downstairs is also among the best in Girona."
