"Great location, two minutes away from the beach, right in the town centre. Nice little swimming pool. Helpful staff. The room and toilet fixtures were minimal and looked outdated and cheap. The walls probably haven't had a new coat of paint in a few years. No hot water but, truthfully, it was pretty warm all the time, so cold water wasn't an issue."

"It's with a heavy heart that I leave a 4-star review of Casa Zala because I would've loved to give a 5. However, the room I stayed at had roaches. Also, during our 3-night stay, the room was not cleaned, beds were not made, and bath towels not changed. This is something every hotel does on a daily basis and it's an expectation considering the price. I saw the pool being cleaned but maybe some days not thoroughly though. One day I was swimming around 10:30 am and the pool had debris and two large dead roaches in the water. The cabin on the 2nd floor didn't have A/C, which didn't entirely bother me, but the description of the room didn't specify this clearly, it should be more specific on that particular matter. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff even more so. The service is truly exceptional and the vibe is unmatched. I'm definitely going back but would love these suggestions to be taken in consideration, and I'll be trying at another room for sure."
