"Extremely disappointed with my experience this year. In the past, I’ve stayed here with friends on their boat and always had a great experience. This year, I came for a wedding and stayed in one of the rooms, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, after leaving, I realized that approximately $200 had been taken from my purse. The money was inside an interior pocket, and my purse stayed in the room the entire trip. My partner also discovered that around $180 was missing from a small zippered bag inside his luggage. His luggage was open, but the money was not out in plain sight. Yes, we should have used the safe, and that’s partially on us. However, I expected better from the staff. Housekeeping entered our room at least three separate times, unless it was another staff member with access. Whoever took the money seemed to know exactly where to look and even left some cash behind, making it appear as though we had simply spent part of it. I know for a fact my money was stolen because it remained in a bank envelope inside my purse for the entire trip, and I never touched it. What makes it even more frustrating is that we didn’t realize the money was missing until after we had returned home. We had already tipped housekeeping before leaving, which makes the situation even more disappointing. Everything else about our stay was great, but unfortunately this experience completely overshadowed the trip."

"The location is unbeatable and stunningly beautiful, sandwiched between the emerald green waters of the bay and the bright turquoise waters of the ocean. My husband and I stayed in a cabin, which had a lovely view of the bay from the back porch and the ocean from the front porch. The cabin was spacious. The kitchenette had a mini fridge, a microwave, a toaster, and a coffee maker. It also has a living room / dining room area with a table. We bought food at the local convenience store to eat breakfast and lunch in our room. We ate dinner at the Abaco Inn's restaurant. We were amazed by the excellent quality of the food. It far surpassed our expectations. Every meal we ate there was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Special mention goes to Wendy and Trey for going out of their way to make our stay fun and relaxing. They are superb hosts. The atmosphere of Elbow Cay is very chill and quiet -- a great place to disconnect. Walk the beach, swim in the pool, go to Hopetown and Tahiti Beach, take a ferry to the lighthouse and to Man-o-War island. We highly recommend staying at the Abaco Inn on Elbow Cay."

"The Elbow Reef Boutique Hotel is way better than the pictures. Listening and watching the waves crash onto the beautiful quiet beach is so relaxing. The hotel is immaculate and upscale modern. I liked that there is no front desk. An email will be sent to you asking when you are arriving, and explain that you just show up, and a key will be in the door. The Bar Fridge is loaded with snacks and drinks. The Sea Spray across the street has a Food Truck, as well as a Bar."
