Louis Apostolata Island Resort
"We booked a Superior Twin room with Sea view, All Inclusive, through Jet2. On the transfer bus we were warned it could take 2 hours, what they didn't mention the state of the roads totally unsuitable for the coach, as it turned out it took an hour and a half, the return took an hour and three quarters. We were quickly through the check in and taken down to our room by buggy. The room itself was very spacious with a large balcony and a great view. The bathroom had a window out into the room which could be covered but a clear glass door on the toilet, so make sure you are comfortable seeing your roommate on the toilet. The bathroom itself could have done with a refresh as it the paint looked old and the sealent was mouldy. We found the food to be excellent in all venues especially the a la carte. The Greek Coffee station at breakfast was great idea. For some reason if you are all inclusive you can't have your lunch at the pool restuarant while the main restaurant is open. The pool is large with plenty of loungers available. The all inclusive drinks available were varied enough, an Apostolata Special became a favourite. All of the staff are very freindly. Entertainment is pretty well none existant. We had a Greek band play one night, they were very good. There is a terraced area beside the sea with a few sunbeds also some steps into the sea so you can go swimming, take a snorkel and mask. The rooms and resort are kept very clean and the gardens look amazing. We took the shuttle bus into Skala a couple of times, it is very handy. Being built on the side of a hill, the resort is very impressive with spectacular views from rooms and restuarants. You will notice ants everywhere unfortunately they are in the outer part of the main restuarant and bar area. We found that although we were all inclusive we had to ask for a key to the safe and the slippers and bathrobe. I also asked for a bulb to be replaced on our first night, this was never fixed. Overall not a 5 star experience but the Apostolsta is worth a visit."
Porto Skala Hotel Village
"Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic 10 day holiday in July 2025 with our children (age 14 - 23). The hotel is so cute with all the different coloured apartments and the rooms are cool (air conditioned), spacious, comfortable and cleaned every morning with fresh linen and towels. All with a beautiful sea view from the balcony. The pool is just perfect, with plenty of space for everyone and always enough sun loungers. There’s also a poolside bar offering snacks, drinks (hot/cold/cocktails) and lunch menu. The buffet breakfast was nice and had plenty of options. It did get busy towards the end of service so we tended to go early and beat the rush. We didn’t have the dinner option as it was very expensive and with better, cheaper options in the nearby town we were happy to venture out for dinner. The town was quite a walk from the hotel so we took advantage of the hotel bus which ran morning - evening. You just need to book at reception, the staff were always extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. Especially Evelyn - she was an absolute ANGEL and made so much effort to ensure we were happy and had everything we could want and more! I would say it would be beneficial to hire a car as there isn’t much close by and with the temperatures in the high 30s you should ensure it has air conditioning! There is parking across the road from the hotel. As well as two stunning little coves with crystal clear water where our children enjoyed snorkelling to see all the fish. The water was clean and cool - so refreshing on the hottest days. Overall this was a fab holiday that I would recommend. Only thing I would change would be to hire a car so we could travel at our leisure and see more of the island and maybe go slightly earlier or later in the year when it’s not so hot. I also think it would be a great idea for the hotel to have music at the bar in the evenings as it’s such a beautiful spot. There’s lovely seating outside reception overlooking the sea but didn’t ever see anyone serving at that bar. With some music on and a drink with that view it would be just perfect "
Melidron Hotel
"Could say that the title says it all. Which it does, but doesn’t show the whole picture! As a group of 12, then 13, “senior” friends made over many years of footballing adventures, playing and/or watching, Wendy and owner Efie mustn’t really have known what to expect when our booking was made early in the year. Circumstances last summer meant rooms were rather unusually available as it turned out. Luckily for us! From Wendy’s initial greeting, & very helpful later advice whenever required, with rooms soon allocated (sea/pool view for me and my room-mate 😀), very clean btw and kept so by the cleaners, nice cold drinks at the pool bar quickly appeared, served by Theo and Aris, who soon got to know us, along with Costas who appeared later that day. All were extremely friendly, as were the other staff, and we got to know several other guests pretty well during our stay. We were even thanked for providing great entertainment (not planned!) by some! A Rock Music night was put on at our request (though some other music was included as the evening went on…Ernie??? Oh dear!!), & arranging for pizzas and chips for our last (quieter) night watching the England last 16 game. Special thanks from us all go to Wendy for putting up with our humour and banter, and finally Efie, who we didn’t really get to speak to until our farewells were said. Personally, I’d love to return sooner rather than later, but with my wife next time. A much quieter holiday then, maybe even with our daughter too (for Costas that one! 😉😄). Oh yes. Skala itself isn’t bad either!!"
Makis Hotel
"Lovely quiet hotel, had Sea facing room , beautiful. Only downside they charge for sun beds on the beach opposite the hotel, that is unnecessary especially as staying at hotel. Breakfast nice , staff friendly. Lots of bars and resturants 5 min walk away ."
OLIVEMARE
"We were completely blown away by Olivemare. The owner Marilena is incredibly helpful and friendly, the food is fantastic, and the rooms are super stylish and comfortable, with a gorgeous private patio area. There are only 5 rooms, so the pool never feels busy, and it's a great size. Breakfast was fabulous with delicious freshly-squeezed orange juice, cheese from the owner's goats, freshly-cooked eggs, and daily specials such as fava, and spinach pie."
Faro Del Porto
"I can't fault this Hotel, view is magical and all the staff are very welcoming and informative. I highly recommend this Hotel, I'll definitely be back. Dave, Plymouth."
Michaela
"Average hotel. Old rooms requires renovation. Too expensive for what it offers."
Blue Jasmine Hotel
"We spent 2 days at Blue Jasmine. The outside spaces are beautiful. Our room was at the back, so no views really. It was spacious and spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. A little milk and a couple of tea bags would have been very welcome on arrival. Breakfast wasn’t great. The staff we met were pleasant."
La SkalaVista
"Arrived late afternoon and shown to our room which overlooked the small garden and pool area. The room was large and clean. All I would say on a negative the room was a little “tired” and could do with a spruce up. Small details like a new curtain for the patio and a few little touch ups here and there. The pool was a nice size and never crowded. Breakfast was ok a selection of bread, ham cheese coffee and juice. Maybe some fresh fruit would have been good. The location is good a 5 minute walk to the beach and Skalas Main Street. I would say though if you want 5 star plus pay for it, don’t expect 5 star accommodation when you’re paying 2 star prices. If your after a base in Skala then the big village is ok."

"What a fantastic place this is. Everything is perfect here. Lovely rustic surroundings and yet within walking distance of the sea and restaurants. Beautifully built and tastefully furnished villa where no expense is spared. Above all, Maria is an amazing hostess. Super thoughtful and friendly. We stayed in the villa with a private pool. Wonderful time. A stay after our own hearts. Thanks for the hospitable welcome, Maria!"
Efrosini Village
"The Efrosini effect..shes like a Sorceress that casts a spell and pulls you in, meaning you cant ever leave; and if you do its only temporary as you simply must return. Thats the reason most of the guests return year after year, and on every sunbed; is a visitor on their phones booking for next year. This is a place of peace, its tranquil, its familiar and its home; friends become family..and strangers become friends. Run by the lovliest of families and every guest is made to feel like the only guest. See you next year for another magical holiday x"
Dalasvillas SkalaAcqua
"Amazing setting, beautifully kept villa with stunning views! This is our second stay year after year and we extended it this time. Kostas and the team are extremely hospitable, available, attentive and around for our every need. The villa is super private and quiet with everything you need to host a family of 6 or 3 couples. The location is perfect, set amongst the most pristine beaches of the island and steps from the best bars and restaurants. Cannot recommend it enough!"
Magnolia Resort
"I recently went with three other girlfriends, we were some of the first visitors for this season. We had two twin rooms which were very spacious with bottles of water and free safe. We had a lovely balcony with mountain views and it was all very peaceful. The pool area was very spacious and the bar staff excellent, bringing your drinks over to your sun bed. Easy walk into town for your evening meals. Bar snacks available at lunchtime at the hotel. Buffet breakfast really good and plentiful. Beach front easily accessible and beautiful. Trips across the island were fabulous and easily accessible from the hotel or nearby bus stop. Bus trips available from bus stop within easy walking distance from the hotel. Adults only which is great. Would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return but fully booked for this season!"
Kalypso Hotel
"Would highly recommend this hotel!!! Rooms and all hotel areas clean and well maintained Everyone welcoming and friendly A lovely breakfast in a calm and organised breakfast room Perfect position for beach, local restaurants and small town"
Hotel Anastazia
"We had a truly amazing stay at this family run, quite, tasteful and idyllic spot. I had read the great reviews of this hotel and they were all so accurate, Anastazia and Andreas along with their family were the perfect warm and kind hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were super, large spacious and great clean bathrooms. The pool space was perfect and most afternoons we had it to ourselves. There was a great little bar next to the pool and this was the same place breakfast was served every morning. Breakfast was all typical Greek homemade and just right to start the day, totally delicious too. Poros town was a lovely charming and friendly place with some excellent restaurants. We found this location ideal to base ourselves and to drive around the island and visit many other locations."
