"I hate to post something like this but after talking with the management at Sage Lodge, I had to share with the public so it is known. We had purchased a night for an exorbitant fee ($700), but had to cancel to due to sickness. We were given a credit for that amount. We were never told that the credit expired in year. (They said they sent countless emails -but we never received them). We tried to redeem this credit on a Sunday in the April, during the off season. I was told they would not honor the credit since it has been over a year, and that they would not provide a refund. Classy. Now we are out $700. When I had called for the reservation there were 10 rooms available. Had they honored our credit, then we would have spent more money in restaurant and spa facilities. They lost that money as well as any future stays... and any future recommendations. How can you tout yourself as offering excellent customer service when you knowingly took our $700 when it could be easily fixed. What a shame and disappointment. All of you should be warned."
