"I was in town for a solo birthday trip Aug 2025. Chose the hotel due to its close proximity to places I wanted to visit as I had never been to the area. The price was great and the check in staff were friendly. There's numerous things that need work i.e. renovations and a good deep cleaning. The pool was also not working and this was not mentioned on the website. The room door didn't seem that secure and as a solo female traveler that had me a little concerned but the area didn't seem shady. I was only there for two days and had I been staying longer I probably would have put up more of a fuss and/or changed hotels. This is definitely a no frill hotel to have a place to lay your head at night. I'll try to upload pictures of what I'm talking about (forgot to take a picture of the nonworking pool). Also there were drinks in the refrigerator left over from the previous people that were in the room."

The den and library each make for a quiet respite. The bed and linens were luxurious making it difficult to crawl out of bed in the morning. Nestled within steps of everything the quaint town of Blue Ridge, this a perfect annual destination for us"
