"I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Aravali Marriott Resort & Spa. This was my second visit—the first one, around 2.5–3 years ago, was excellent, which is why I chose this property again to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Unfortunately, this stay turned out to be one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. The biggest letdown was the housekeeping team. Hygiene standards were shockingly poor. Despite calling housekeeping five times to get our room cleaned, nobody showed up. When they finally came after the sixth call, the room was still not cleaned properly. For a luxury hotel, this level of service is completely unacceptable. We were staying with our pet in a designated pet-friendly room, where cleanliness should be an even higher priority. Instead, it felt like the staff simply didn’t care. If you advertise yourself as pet-friendly, you must also maintain hygiene standards for guests travelling with pets. Another major disappointment was the so-called “pet-friendly” policy. While the hotel promotes itself as welcoming pets, they are not allowed in most areas of the property, making the experience extremely restrictive and misleading. As a travel creator with over 317,000 followers on Instagram, I stay at premium hotels across the country at least twice every month, including exceptional properties like Taj Aravali Udaipur and Hyatt Regency Dehradun, where service and hospitality consistently exceed expectations. Sadly, this stay at Aravali Marriott fell far below the standards expected from a luxury Marriott property. What should have been a memorable celebration for my mother’s birthday became a frustrating experience because of poor housekeeping, lack of hygiene, and disappointing service. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously, because based on this experience, I would not choose this property again or recommend it to anyone looking for a genuinely luxury or pet-friendly stay."
