"The best hotel we have stayed at. Its quiet luxury in terms of service - the hotel staff at all levels are down to earth and treat everyone equally and kindly and their service does leave you wanting for anything. It was worth every dollar. Paul, their head concierge, is beyond exceptional. Provided a lot of help with day trips and recommendations that we took and loved. They even helped with a car rental that was dropped and picked up at the hotel. And Paul also came and picked us up when the taxis were on strike for a night (so kind). The rooms are immaculate and extremely clean. They are beautifully decorated and spacious. The library is a cozy place to eat breakfast and read or have a quiet moment to yourself. and the grounds are beautifully kept. We also went during their shoulder season so it was quieter - not sure what summer might be like there I hope to definitely go back there."

"Very pleasant person at the desk (Marietta and her colleague). They did their best to please us. Many informations about the tour in Firenze and many things to visit around the hotel. The breakfast was good just a problem with the coffee machine as the coffee and chocolate was really light (too much water). Nothing important anyway. 2 bottles of fresh water per day and a mosquito reppelent were offered and much appreciated ! The room was clean and the airco was working perfectly. The last day, they kindly keep our wine and Oliva oil by the desk as the temperature was too high to let it in the car during our tour to Firenze. Thanks again for your help !"

"Lovey two night stay in our motor home , The reception staff were friendly and informative regarding the bus into Florence , and there shuttle bus. Swimming pool fab , views in the evening breathtaking. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, but from what I saw , looked ok . Only negative, they say they have a market ( food shop) , there’s nothing really in it , I couldn’t make a meal from anything they had . If you want some bread / rolls in the morning you order them the evening before. All in all lovley stay"

"Perfect place to experience the Tuscan countryside while staying close to Florence. The grounds feature a nice pool area, gardens, farm animals, and a lovely hiking trail. The on-site restaurant is one of the best in the area, serving fresh, local ingredients. There is also a small store where you can purchase cheeses, fruits, and vegetables, as well as coffee and wine. There are also many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Our group had two apartments here for five days. They both had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One had a small kitchen/living area. The other had a spacious living area and full-sized kitchen with sweeping views over the Tuscan landscape. The larger unit also had an updated bathroom with a large shower. So nice! AC in all the bedrooms worked really well. Definitely recommend a car to get around in this area. It is possible to get a taxi but definitely easier if you have a car. Takes about 20 minutes by taxi to get to Florence. There is also a bus that stops close by. The town of Fiesole is relatively close (perhaps a mile by foot) and has a nice bakery, meat shop, grocery store, produce store, restaurants, etc. Overall, this was a charming, peaceful and authentic place from which to start our Italian vacation."
