Armon Greenblu Hotel & Wellness
"Pros: - Very convenient location just next to the ski gondola. - Renovated building with modern interior, but a bit small but clean rooms. - Great kitchen with good and abandon food. Great local wine selection. - The kids center is very nice and convenient, the staff there is very friendly and warm the kids loved it. - The hotel has all the needed ski and bike rooms and accommodations. The Spa is modern and renovated, but the pool is a bit dated and small. - The staff is very nice and friendly - The service at the restaurant is exceptional - 5* there, the best I had in this type of a hotel. Cons: - There is no free car parking - anywhere. The parking at the hotel is payed and the parking place must be booked in advance during weekends or high season. There is a public parking building in front, but also payed. Not a problem after all, but I fill that this must be strongly explained when booking. - If you do not book the premium room you get a room that is more of a 3 * experience - with no view, restricted time at the spa center - 60 min for the hole stay, no coffee maker, no bath ropes etc. So read very carefully the descriptions at the site when booking."
Luna Wellness Hotel
"If you’re looking for a hotel that really treats their customers as kings, than this is the place to be. During my trip, I came later on the destination than the check-in hours, but due to great and fast contact through their E-mail it was possible to check-in later. Besides the good customer contact, they also have a great breakfast and really good dinner. I would describe this place as a place of comfort and great hospitality."
Park Hotel
"An hotel for families in Folgarida, Park Hotel is overall a decent place to stay, especially if you have small kids (which we didn't have) or if you are in the elderly age range (which we weren't). Pros: 1) the dining hall is excellently managed by a Polish maître, providing excellent, precise and fast service for all guests (including optional lunch boxes and birthday cakes); 2) the spa, divided in a relax area and in a swimming pool, is also excellently managed by a Polish lady. While it requires to book in advance (except in the mornings) and while many of the Italian guests do not respect the booking, the lady is both kind and stern in providing efficient organization to the place; 3) the room service is excellent, fast and respectful, and well managed and organized; 4) the location is nice, being close to many places for skiing (in winter), path, places and activities, but it is not in walking distance from a supermarket (the closest, in Folgarida, is around 20 minutes downhill). Now, the cons. 1) The absolute worst issue with the hotel is the lack of parking. The hotel has roughly 60 rooms, and, including garage and open parking, can accomodate only 30 cars. The rest of the guests parks in the public street, often getting fined by the police because there is no (free or otherwise) public parking. The hotel receptionist wrongly suggests to park in the street, and is personally responsible for many of these fines. 2) The second bad feature of this hotel is indeed the reception service: the girl there, maybe frustrated for some personal reason, does not speak English (and she is around 30 and Italian, meaning she willingly decided not to study it, since it is mandatory in Italian schools since the 1990s). As said before, she wrongly suggests to park in forbidden spots. When told that one of the guests was pregnant and needed to park in the garage in order not to walk for miles, she said "not my problem", suggesting she has a persnoal issue with children or pregnant women. When asked for a map of the area, she begrudingly provided one of the 5000 available at the reception desk, and when asked to tell us where we were on the map, she said she didn't know and not to bother her (it is customary while working at the reception to circle with a pen the position where the hotel is, or at least do so when politely asked). Just to be clear: the receptionist worked there for a week straight. 3) Overall, while individual contexts are extremely well managed (spa, dining hall), the overall management of the hotel is lacking. For example, the only elevator was broken for days, as well as the Americano coffee dispensers. 4) The general lack of English amongst the personnel shows and frustrates foreign guests. The entertainment activities are for Italians only (to be more precise, for Italian kids only), and it is a bit sad, given the fact that Italians should know English at this point (and if they don't, well, they were a burden to our education system and"
Hotel Caminetto
"Our experience at Hotel Caminetto was brilliant! The staff were excellent, friendly, accommodating and spoke English very well. Corrado was particularly brilliant, and created a friendly and warm environment. The receptionists and bartenders were also particularly excellent. The food was fabulous, with an array of dishes available that catered to everyone. The Wabi-Sabi spa was the epitome of relaxing and serene. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to our friends and families "
