"The hotel's location was fantastic, right next to the glacier. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, but the hotel itself, including its furnishings, is quite dated. This is why I deducted points for the furnishings, especially since they weren't very clean (dirty kettle, broken refrigerator, iron covered in limescale). The room and bathroom, however, were clean. The service team was friendly but not very well-coordinated. The portion sizes were good, and the food tasted good. The restaurant could have been cleaner; there were still crumbs from breakfast on the windowsills in the evening. It's okay for a short stop, but it no longer meets modern standards."

"We had a wonderful stay at Franz Josef Oasis Hotel! There were 10 of us. All the rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious, and newly renovated. A special compliment to the owner, Angela who was friendly, super helpful, attentive and genuinely caring throughout our visit. Though the location was about 6 minutes drive from town, the overall atmosphere made us feel warm and welcomed. You can really see the effort and passion that Angela puts into making sure everyone has a pleasant stay. We truly appreciated the personal touch and excellent hospitality. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!"

"Location: The hotel is very close to the Josef Glacier meeting point. There's a bar nearby that closes at 11 PM, just a two-minute walk away, perfect for those arriving late and having missed dinner. Scenery: The snow-capped mountains are visible right from the courtyard; the scenery is beautiful. Service: We arrived after 9 PM, and the staff had already left. Luckily, there was a note on the front desk door guiding us through self-check-in. There were Chinese-speaking staff who even recommended scenic spots on driving routes—nice! Facilities: The room was fairly clean and tidy, with a refrigerator, microwave, and some basic tableware. It's perfect for heating up breakfast before a hike in the morning. Milk is also provided upon check-in. In short, it's ideal for those driving through the town and needing a short stay."
