"We had an excellent stay in the hotel. It is a walking distance to get on S-Bahn S1 at Freising station. We could go to Marien platz directly on S-Bahn.
You may go to the restaurant in the town. There is a large church i 9 min walking. It is worth to visit there."
"Very friendly, friendly, kind and responsive staff at this hotel. Seen earlier on time without any requests, simply specified that the room is ready and welcome. Breakfast is a Swedish table, rooms are comfortable, very clean, there is everything necessary, the location of the hotel in the city center. You can get from Munich airport in 16 minutes, the bus goes every 10 minutes, which is very convenient."
"Authentic and rustic on the outside, my room had been refurbished with up to date bathroom fixtures and shower, flooring, paint and furniture. Able to sleep 2 adults, 1 teen and 2 small kids. The Gruner Hof is a short walk across the Isar to Freising's old town and monastery (must see). Lots of options for public transportation; bus, train, taxi.
Quaintness factors: 2nd story rooms have the sloping roof and ceiling. I'm tall. Took me a week to stop bumping into it. Across the street is a church/school with a bell tower that chimes the time from 7am to 10pm; you'll always know the time but doesn't bother at night. Good sidewalks everywhere."
"I booked two Marriott hotels for this two-week trip, with Munich as my first stop. Overall, the hotel was okay, but a bit below my expectations. The facilities were slightly outdated, and the sofa bed was too soft and uncomfortable. The breakfast was plentiful, but the parking fee was a bit expensive."
"Because there was no elevator, it was hard to take the suitcase using the stairs. After the shower was used, water leaked from the bathroom to the room, so I think it is necessary to take measures against water leakage. Breakfast was good in a calm space."
"Extremely convenient for early morning flights! There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and it's just two stops to the airport, costing 2 euros. Buses run every 10 minutes, from 3:43 AM to 0:33 AM, which covers all airport travel needs.
The hygiene is good. However, there are two downsides:
1: The room doesn't provide drinking water or a kettle. You can buy small bottles of water in the lobby for 3.5-4 euros.
2: There are no other dining options nearby. The hotel's restaurant has a limited menu and is quite expensive."
In the new ibis Styles directly at Munich Airport, you can expect a modern design inspired by the Isar river that embraces nature. Forest and water are the central themes, visible in the blue-green façade, which is reminiscent of the colors of Bavarian riparian forests. The open lobby located at the heart of the hotel is where you'll find our ISAR GARDEN restaurant with terrace, a bar, co-working spaces, food market, and children's area. The hotel also has a fully equipped fitness room.
"Lerner hat umgebaut und ist sehr schön geworden, komfortable Zimmer, ruhig Lage und außerordentlich gastfreundlich. Das Frühstücksambiente rundete unseren Aufenthalt zur vollsten Zufriedenheit ab."
"The hotel stay experience is generally satisfactory. The front desk is fluent in English and friendly, and the check-in procedure is efficient. The room size is moderate, the decoration is modern minimalist and European classical elements, and the sound insulation effect is excellent. The bathroom facilities are equipped with smart toilets and rain showers. Daily organic toiletries reflect the concept of environmental protection. The breakfast is full, with freshly baked alkaline bread, Bavarian white intestines and more than a dozen local cheeses. Business travel and cultural travelers are recommended."
